Yep got mine monday, opened a case and then decided to put 10 boxes on ebay after I got billed for Wolverine earlier than planned. It is a really nice set will post scans, numbers on the back of the cards are tricky my dads old eyes have had fun spotting the different numbers when making up the sets.

Howdy all, glad to be back got to say I am really looking forward to this set shame about the redemptions but i think this set will be an apt warm up for Half Blood Prince later this year. Also hopefully there will be more goodys available at comic con with cards from this set. My 2 cases have been sent today so fingers crossed i will have them for the weekend good old fedex.

I am currently counting down the days I fly out of heathrow next tuesday so I am all ready for preview night plus I just found out Marvel Masterpieces set 2 comes out this week so it sure looks like I will be pretty broke pretty quick thats even before I go to vegas.
5 work days left and counting.
I am really pleased about the backpacks they should be a little easier to handle than usual well thats the thinking anyway.

Just me being a pesimist but I sure hope the good bags are harry potter based and not a mixture of other artbox products the description just seems a little vague. I hope it is potter based I only had 2 cases of 3D 2nd Edition thinking I would be getting them in the goody bags.

I would prefer one film myself, i think it has more to do with it being the final film and a money making thing more than anything else.

I had Box number 2 from this set and it had my arry and Cho Dual Auto redemption in it. I also had box number 9 but it wasnt antthing special.

Really sorry to hear that people have been having trouble with their collation I had been planning on opening all 5 of my cases but think i will be playing it by ear one case at  a time. I will post my scans next week when they arrive and report any collation problems.

Just as an update I have just read the chapter The Lost boy, wow that was powerful when I got to the last paragraph in the chapter I didnt want to read it but did eventually wasnt as bad as I was expecting but so well written.
I think people will interpret different aspects in their own way and agree my I will never listen to something or read a book which will change my faith, my opinion is these books are extremely engaging and should be read I cant wait to finish the three books to see waht happens and then I think I will base my own opinions on the strength of the message.
Great discussion though guys. 

Well I am reading Northern Lights now and a really enjoying the book, I am christian but not necisarily a practicing christian ie I dont go to church but do have a faith and pray regularly. I agree with Jeff I would not endorse this to be read by children as it is quite graphic in parts and a lot more shocking and scary than Harry potter. I cant really comment on the religious undertones of this book but upon reading this article have been a little concerned for the real underlying meanings of the story especially after the authors comments on "Killing God"
I will continue to read the trilogy keeping within the contexts of the book and its story but I do find it concerning that the books may have an alterior motive to impose anti religious views especially on the minds of children.

Yep I will be going again next year just having difficulty getting the same Hotel at the moment so hopefully they will release more rooms soon.

Count me in i was gutted  missed it last year. 

Wow Topps website has been updated and the full Sketch artist list is up and TIM SALE  is a confirmed artist I have just upped my order even though my chances of pulling one of his sketches is miniscule  with the expected auto list and not to mention the other excellent artists already on board I cant wait for this set.

Topps will produce a odds guide so we can gauge the rarity of these cards unfortunately topps dont reveal the exact box count or case count so all in all we will only be able to estimate the quantities. Still fun though.

I still will be on the fence for this set Topps seem to do a great set then the next one is a stinker. Until we get a concrete signers list I will find it hard to fully look forward to this set. And for the sake of all the really die hard POTC fans I hope they make a killer set.

Well I was really pleased to hear this news then to hear it was from Topps I was like "uh ohh" which wasnt made better by the fact there wont be any sketch cards in the set, which means we are likely to get one insert per box with the odds of the big signers being slightly astronomical. Sorry to be totally sceptical but until I hear about the actual signers and the memorabilia Cards I wont be ordering any. As an example Batman Begins averaged one big insert per box I got 1 auto per case and the rest either Batman Capes or batmobile Tyres.
