Wow - I am surprised that no one started a thread for this super movie!      The new movie has the look and feel of the prior three and I just loved that!     The story line was cool and everyone involved did an outstanding job.  It is interesting how certain characters grow on you and for me in this movie it was John Hurt playing the role of Indies buddy Harold "Ox" Oxley!     I have seen this movie twice and plan on seeing it again.   

I too echo everyone's thoughts here!     I sure hope Howard Shore is going to create the music for The Hobbit!   

Saw this one four times now and just love it!    Picked up the movie soundtrack and have it on my iPod to listen to!

I have been away from this Forum for some time now but wanted to send my Birthday wishes out to two of my friends here on the Yak Shack.  The first one is a belated Happy Birthday to our very own Roz who celebrated her Birthday while working overseas in Russia on 21 April!

Ingrid has created some beautiful Aragorn artwork for me in the past but the first of the 3 new ones she is drawing for me is beyond words!     I just love the colors she used!     The second one is just as breath taking showing Aragorn about to engage the Uruk-hai on top of Amon-Hen to give Frodo time to escape!  WOW!      

I just had to post this sketch card drawing of Legolas by an Artist named Studio Hades!  Here is one for all you Legolas lovers!!     The Artist names him Beavolas!     It is a take off from the MTV cartoon series Beavis and Butthead!!

Thanks for posting the photo Kelly - I too put in my pre-order for both the Frodo and Sam Exclusive 12 inch figures.     I have both the Boromir and Faramir figures shown in your picture but I passed on the Gandalf bust.  I just do not care for busts as I like to have the entire figure. 

Did anyone see any Lord of the Rings items at this years Comic Con?  Thanks.     I know Sideshow and Gentle Giant should have.   

My wife and I each had our own copies and finished yesterday.  We could not put the book down and now that we are finished we both feel a huge let down knowing that this is the last book maybe forever in the series!   :'(  What a roller coaster ride of emotions throughout the book!  The best Potter book in our opinion!
