Good for you braving the weather We had a Shacker at PoA and now at GoF, I was so jealous when Ben was at ROTK - he was on the phone and went "Oh my God it's Ian McKellen" - that must have been awesome as must this. I really ought to go to one some day - but Ben used to say he got there the night before and stood in a spot for around 24 hours!!! (Doing occasional coffee runs etc), what time did you get there?

We got there at about 3:30pm and it was due to start at 5pm :/ I wanted to get there really, really early...like 9am-ish but we ended up going to the science museum for the morning. It didn't start getting 'really' packed untill about 4:30, but I still wish we had gotten there earlier

Those are nicer than you think! I think you did a great job The rain is probably what made things hardest. If they weren't stuck under umbrellas, maybe they would have posed more Even though Dan or Emma didn't come down that path, you got to see loads of the HP stars

By the way, how could most of us forget you? Hope the manic stuff is getting better

Yeah, the weather sure did ruin some of it. We were forcast bad weather all weekend, but friday and saturday were fine...it's just typical it had to rain on the sunday >.< But you're right, even though I didn't get close to Dan or Emma, at least I got to see most of them. I don't think it's really hit me yet that they were there, some only about 2-3 foot in front of me...XD As for the manic stuff, it is certainly getting better

Heh, I think once everyone started arriving, the crowd started putting down their brollies because they were more concered with taking pics!

Hello there! Some of you may remember me from ages ago....sorry I haven't been around but things have been abit manic recently. Anyways, I'm not sure if anyone has posted pics yet, but I managed to get myself down to Leicester Square on sunday for the premiere. It was such a great experience....I can't wait till I get to see the movie myself!!  I took quite a few pics but alot of then were really rubbish. Not only was it raining most of the time, I wasn't in the best spot and my camera kept eating the batteries. I kept turning it off to save power, but it takes ages to sort itself out once you turn it back on >.< Anywhos...heres some of the better pics I got:

I managed to get a glimpse of Dan and Emma, but they didn't bother coming over to us like the rest did  I also didn't manage to get any autographs but I'm not really bothered, just being there was good enough  The daylight pictures were taken the day before. In the middle of the square they were setting up a huge scene with a dragon in a cage that breathed fire. However, when the day came they put these big white screens all the way around it so I couldn't see any of the neat stuff  :'( Anyways, they said they start filming the next one in february, so hopefully the next one will come out in 2007...I'm gonna make sure I get to the premiere early for that one so I can at least get better pictures! hehe

hehe, they arrived in perfect condition!!!! Do the wand box swatches come in different colours? I'm still very hazy on this set...I didn't know the prop/costume cards were going to be so thick! lol

I chatted with my dealer a little while ago and he told me that there will be an incentive card, the Grass card, which will be 3/4” thick. This will be the thickest card Artbox has ever made.

hehehe, indeed I do!  Another Howler will be going up today or tomorrow, and possibly the bon bons...I still haven't received payment for them, and have had no contact from the bidder so they might get relisted at some point. The map has kinda died. Everytime I look at my little plans of what I need to do, it scares me just how much more needs doing. It's like being back at college and having to finish a project by a certain time  I know I need to get it done...I'll try!! 

In the extras DVD, when they are going through how they made buckbeak etc...one of the guys mentions that part of the film, saying it's probably the first cgi animal to ever poo in a film! lol

I have to say it is really good. im also making a marauders map but its nowhere near as good as yours! (If you want to see my map it is at my website: www.nixemusleirbas.tk but like i sed its nowhere near as good as hers.)
Loads of people have been making marauder's maps, nut have any of you thought of sending pictures 2 jkrowling? i have.

I really do think your map is fantastic!   Like you mention at the bottom of the pics, it might not be exactly like the one in the film, but that makes it so much more unique. What I also like is the work you put into researching where all the rooms were in relation to each other and the different folds you have dotted around  

Luluhime  you simply have to finish that Marauders Map.  Have you seen the one above for sale?

That is lovely, yours is fantastic.  With the new book only months away you could clean up on it.

I will be doing more to the map tonight!! I got abit side tracked with the smaller props, but I'm not making anymore now till the auctions end which gives me a good  6 days to concentrate on the map
