I just found this really cool website that gives more background information about the animatronic dragon and basilisk. It also has quite a few behind the scenes pictures of these that I had never seen before so I thought I would share.

Thank you for the advice kbmum, I haven't done anything with the card and I suppose your right I'm better off not ruining the value. Having some of the swatch hidden and peeking in to see it all is kind of fun anyway   

As of right now I don't have a display case for the props, they are still wrapped in the wax paper that I received them in at the moment. I also have two background wands (one from the DH and one from SS) that I need to get a display for. I've been looking around for a good place to get one but haven't had any luck because the wands are an odd dimension. I might just get a big one with shelves for everything. Do you know any good resources for display cases?

I know this question should technically go in the HP 3D 2nd edition section, but I figure I might as well just post it here. So, I have an interesting question that I would like to get some input on. I have this Ci3 Umbridge's Special Quill card and it is a very cool variant, however there is much of the quill tip covered by the outer layer. I know it may sound crazy but I am considering cutting away the excess material very carefully to better expose it. This will probably ruin much of the value in the card, but I almost think it would be worth it. What do you all think?

Just aquired a spike from the animatronic dragon used in the Goblet of Fire triwizard tournament. Most shots of the dragons were CGI as with the basilisk, but they did create a couple full-sized dragons. One such is on display at the Leavesden Studio HP tour.

I noticed the number 3 written in ink on the end but I'm not sure what purpose that served, possibly to indicate its designated location on the dragon.

There hasn't been much activity on this forum lately, and I have recently purchased something I think you will all enjoy and might bring some buzz back to the Shak. This is an original fang from the animatronic Basilisk used in COS! I'm told it is the second largest tooth made aside from the one Harry uses to stab the diary. It is made from some sort of wax/resin type material, and when held up to the light it appears slightly transparent making it look very realistic. 


       

       

       

       

      



 It was gifted to a crew member after filming wrapped and I am now lucky enough to own it. I also have a few other props from this source that I may post images of if there is any interest. Anybody else have original props from the films that they would be willing to share?

I did some research and I couldn't find an answer, but I was wondering if a retail version of the Memorable Moments 2 Set exists?

 I know that it does for some sets and not others and I would really appreciate the knowledge  !

I always found the "flex" method was most indicative of props and costumes. Of course, the CFC cards are of different thicknesses, some almost as thin as base cards.

This is the method I go with as well, and it saves you money in unopened packs. Considering its a guaranteed two per box with the HBP it's nice to know that you got everything.  I know collation was horrible with POAU, but am I correct to think that its only possible to get two per box with HBP?

The seller of the collection mentions that she has a master set for every release so it would be awesome to get pictures of the whole collection. But hopefully she will just continue to list more items. Its funny to think that the ones listed might be her least favorite or duplicates  especially with the amount of Radcliffe, Watson, and Grint's she has listed its nuts.

People won't buy packs that are mis-sealed, regardless of the reason for the mis-seal.

I figured this might be the case, but I would mention that these packs won't contain any of the inserts considering I already found the two possible in the box. Somebody on  might want them if they are a good price I think.

Anyway, I still haven't heard anything from Kay about getting some kind of replacement and I even offered to send in the damaged packs. Its been over two weeks since I sent the first email about this problem. Do you guys know any other way to contact Artbox or their people? It just stinks to have paid full price for a box and not be able to sell the packs as sealed.

I saw this last night. It is an amazing collection and I'm sure they have many more they are holding onto  . The variants in this set are really nice, but I feel like they might be a little overpriced on some of the cards, just my opinion. I've actually put an offer in on one card but no response yet lol!

I know this is off topic, but I recently found some mis-sealed packs in my HBP hobby box. Most of them are only open like an inch or so at the bottom but I'm not sure if people will buy them in this condition. I've emailed Kay twice about this problem and have not gotten any reply, I suppose they might not care as much now that they are stopping the HP collection. Have any of you had a problem with mis-sealed packs and did they do anything to replace them?
