In the case of many of the Star Trek costumes there's every chance they were worn on multiple episodes, and who knows, maybe more than one series. They are mostly uniforms.

I can help there. It is very non-committal on the back. It says

"this card contains an authentic piece of (show logo here, in this case it says) Star Trek Voyager costume material".

No actor name. No character name. No show details.

I'm surprised that there are no autos from the Weird Sisters.

I don't think trading cards would suit either Radiohead or Pulp (the weird sisters)

Did you enjoy meeting the members of Radiohead and Pulp who appear in the film as Weird Sisters?
“Radiohead and Pulp are very much my kind of music! Pulp were just fantastic. They were both fantastic, but obviously very different bands. Radiohead, actually, I wasn't that into until about this year when I got into them in a major, major way. OK Computer is starting to become one of my favourite albums. But I was very excited to meet them. I think what I did with Jarvis Cocker, though, because I was so excited to meet him, was I just stood there, smiled a bit stupidly, and made really cheesy jokes. I can't really remember because it's all a bit of a blur. I was so overwhelmed at meeting him. I've been a Pulp fan for quite a long time because my dad was a Pulp fan.”

Did you get to pogo to The Weird Sisters during the ball scene?
“No! Mike did say to me, many many times, if I wanted to be in the scene I could be, but in the end I wasn't because in that scene Harry's a bit of a wallflower, so he just sort of sits somewhere else and sulks. There is always somebody like that at a party; normally it's me.”

You have some nice cards Beckham. I didn't realise that I have missed the release of this set as well as Goblet of fire. I have some catching up to do.

I'm a cradle christian but love Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Narnia alike. I have even stretched to the pure fantasy of the Da Vinci Code too without being too offended. It's just fiction.

Does anyone know when this next episode is airing? I will be in the States this time next week and I will probably be a little homesick for pastures green (England) so a good episode of lost would help me settle in.

Hi again people. I have been away for a bit and have not been able to buy cards where I have been placed. I am back in England now and am looking to buy some boxes of Goblet. If I can get hold of them I would like to buy 5. I don't mind buying abroad but I would prefer to buy in the UK if possible. I am travelling to Texas in a week's time so I could always buy in the States and have them posted to my appartment there. Can anyone recommend a source?

I thought the same thing, when HP finds Trelawney by the Room of Requirement she mutters something about impending doom on a tower and that she had tried to discuss this with Firenze but he would not listen.

The problem here is that no one ever believed Trelawney because the only other premonitions she had that were correct she was unaware of what she said afterwards (1 - the big prophecy - 2 - with Harry - the servant will escape stuff).

Hello Sam. It sounds like you have read around a bit - I read a book called the "new pearl harbor" and it was full off all sorts of conspiracies almost to the point of saying that George Bush might as well have flown the planes himself. But you can't believe quite everything in all of the books that you read.

We do get a lot of information on these events and we get so many people's different viewpoints, I have checked with the author and I would like to post a small part of a mail I have been sent in response to this thread... here goes:

The vast increase in bigger and heavier vehicles for personal use is totally opposite to what has happened in most of the rest of the world, as fuel costs and emmissions have increased. The problem lies in the average American's way of looking at the world. "If I can afford it I can damn well have it". Americans don't like to be told what's good for them, the irrational defence of the right to bear arms is a perfect example of this thinking process. With gas at $2.20 gallon its still only half what most other nations pay. Take into account the average disposable income and fuel cost has even less impact on individuals. Not until it hurts the pocket book will the US do anything really dramatic about energy consumption. Bush, as any other American President is powerless to change attitudes."

Savage727, if you are hit by an SUV and you are in a small car I agree that you are in the poorer situation, but if most people on the roads drive smaller cars and the safety tests and constraints are very high like they are here in the UK, well I am actually in Scotland, but the safety standards are obviously the same, then things are much better. It's about changing attitudes, but your president should lead the way for your country. Britain still contributes far too much C02 but we are working on it.

Well, no I hadn't. But I just have and all I see is that you are a fan of Bush, which surprises me, but someone has to be or he would not have got elected. What does that have to do with climate change?

If you shared a house with other people and they abused the conditions which enabled you to live together happily and safely, you would do something about it. If they took more than their share of food, smoked cigarettes around non-smokers, didn't clean the toilets, left water running in an unused shower; if they did any of these things to pollute your environment and diminish your way of life, you would do something about it.

The fact that Bush fails to recognise the depth of the US' impact on climate and the environment speaks volumes about his ignorance. Trying to appease him with watered down and goalless legislation is hopeless. Would you take a new law seriously if it were changed every time you said you didn't agree with it? Other nations around the globe shall take the lead and show up the US what it is. Someone should inform Mr Bush that we all live in the same house as he does and we want him to clean up his act.
