2  Harry Potter / Diagon Alley / Selling my entire Harry Potter auto card collection!! on: November 05, 2012, 12:40:56 PM
Good morning, guys and gals!

The time has come to sell the my entire Harry Potter auto card collection on eBay.
I have some of the choicest signatures that you will ever hope to find, as I was
a perfectionist in the hobby.  If you're looking to upgrade some cards that you have,
or perhaps you're looking for that single, elusive one, I hope your search through my
cards will lead to fruition.  I'll be listing them tomorrow, after work, so I'll be sure to
return and post a link to my eBay store, once completed.  I am based in the U.S., and
I know sometimes listings visibility is poor, so I wanted you guys to have a fair shot,
too.  I've been on here for a few years and some of your posts have helped me in my
endeavors, so I'd like to return the favor!  Please pass the word, and I shall return
tomorrow!  Thanks!   Smiley

5  Harry Potter / Diagon Alley / Re: Desperately seeking 2 auto cards... on: September 17, 2011, 12:33:17 AM
I've actually got a Tiana, myself, but the autograph is smudged, so I've been looking for a replacement.
The 1st Tiana was good, but the 2nd one was substandard.  I'm just amazed at how much these cards
"average" for, yet occasionally triple and quadruple their value.  It boggles the mind.  Oh, well...

6  Harry Potter / Diagon Alley / Re: Desperately seeking 2 auto cards... on: September 12, 2011, 02:28:47 AM
Wow...that Tiana card sold for just over $200.  Just before that, a Rob Patt sold for $1200.
I wonder if people actually know what they're bidding on?  Must be nice to have infinitely
deep pockets.  HAHA!   Grin
Oh, well.  There's always next time.  Cheers!

Oh, wow!  What are the odds??  Thanks for the heads-up on that!  Grin
8  Harry Potter / Diagon Alley / Desperately seeking 2 auto cards... on: September 05, 2011, 04:45:07 AM

Good day, guys and gals!
I've been searching eBay religiously for 2 years now, and I can't seem to find 2 Harry Potter
auto cards that I need to complete my sets.   Huh   Ebay!

John "Mr. Ollivander" Hurt - The Sorcerer's Stone
Tiana "Angelina Johnson" Benjamin - Goblet of Fire

Would anyone happen to have any extras that they'd be willing to part with, in exchange
for the price of their asking?  Praying Thanks for your time!
9  Harry Potter / Goblet of Fire Trading Cards from Artbox / Re: Robert Pattinson auto auction **WOW** on: August 21, 2011, 08:53:25 AM
Well, the newest Rob Pattinson on eBay was sitting at $850.00, before I lost track of it.
I was distracted with a GoF Sirius Black, of which I ended up winning for $405.00.  Yikes!!
Geez, these autos are REALLY getting expensive!  At least that was the last one I needed
for my GoF auto master set.  Maybe someday, I'll look back at this and laugh.  Or cry.
HAHA!  <SNIFF>...
 ROFL!

10  Harry Potter / Goblet of Fire Trading Cards from Artbox / Re: Robert Pattinson auto auction **WOW** on: August 17, 2011, 06:42:51 AM
WOW!  I just never thought I'd see the day where the market would be overran with Rob Pattinson autos.  I'll certainly be a monkey's uncle!   Shocked
Now, if only we can get a few more Johnny's out there...Cleese and Hurt from the SS set, I mean.  THOSE guys seem to be non-existent.   Huh
I'll leave that for a different time and a different forum, though.  Wink

Looks like we have (yet) another Rob Pattinson on eBay right now, in addition to Brenden Gleeson, Shirley Henderson, Gary Oldman, and the Phelps twins.  THIS should be quite interesting!  Grin

18  Harry Potter / Prisoner of Azkaban Artbox Update set / Harry Potter BGS Grade 9/10!! on: September 07, 2010, 04:06:03 AM
Good morning!
I'm new to the Harry Potter/ Artbox phenomenon, but I can tell it's going to be a very fun (if not COSTLY) hobby.
Every so often, you can find cards that have been encapsulated by a 3rd party grading service.
This particular one just sold on eBay, and it really got my curiosity.
Does anybody have any pros or cons about collecting Potter cards in this manner?
They look great, and you know exactly what you're looking at, or are they just in an overbearing, overpriced case?
I now join your collecting ranks as an Artbox Potter collector, but I need some input to determine which is a better
route to take.  To grade...or not to grade.  I'm open to any and all suggestions!  Many thanks for having me here. =)

19  Harry Potter / Sorcerer's Stone Artbox Trading Cards / Re: Looking for Harry Potter: Sorcerer's Stone auto cards on: July 04, 2010, 04:52:08 AM
I finally found/purchased a Sorting Hat/Leslie Phillips on eBay.
Two more to go!  Ollivander doesn't pop up very often, and
I've never even seen a Goyle card up for sale.  Hmmm....
this should be VERY interesting!  HAHA!
20  Harry Potter / Sorcerer's Stone Artbox Trading Cards / Looking for Harry Potter: Sorcerer's Stone auto cards on: June 27, 2010, 01:08:56 AM
AARRGGHHH!!
I'm close to a set of the Sorcerer's Stone auto cards, but I'm missing three of them.
Everywhere I search comes up short.  Does anybody know where I might find
(or maybe someone is selling) the following...

1. Ollivander/John Hurt
2. Gregory Goyle/Josh Herdman
3. Sorting Hat/Leslie Phillips

Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks!

-Chris
