Wow, I'm surprised no one really posted any info about the bags this year.
For the most part they had some stuff from previous cons, my 5 bags contained: Artbox binders(5), Death Eater Prop set(74/100), retail box hbp, hobby box hbpu, star wars magnet set(4), hbp tins(4), crystal card dhpart1, there were autos in every bag(mostly dhpart1), 1-2 costume cards, 1-2 prop cards, and the cool thing- printing plates from ootp(2 I got- draco malfoy & death eater costume card(c18)). The printing are all 1/1 and there are 247 sets.
They balanced the bags out pretty well. If you got a retail box, you got an extra thing with costume/prop cards. They had auctions all con long for all exclusives from last con or the con before.
Not much new, but the franchise is about at its end, so no surprise.

Has anyone looked at all the stuff hes selling? He has a couple exclusives for ridiculous prices and tons of other auto/costume/prop cards for 3 times the amount you can normally get them for on eBay. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy worked for Artbox and this is the way they make extra profit.

The doors open at 9:30am to let everyone in(every year I have gone they let us in about 10min early). Artobox will not sell to anyone until 10am. You have to jump in line and wait. All the people in the front of the line are usually exhibitors, they can be in and out of the convention center before and after hours. Which sucks! Also about 5-10 minutes before 10am all the extra friends show up and jump in line. All the goody bags are sold in the morning! Throughout the day the booth gets people asking questions or buying whatever sets/binders/magnets they have in the case. It is very easy to say most of the business for Artbox is done between 10-11am.

I think they want certain people to win the auctions. I was talking to one of the volunteers there and she kind of gave me the impression that certain info was given out to certain card buyers. She also told me that whatever they had in their case was promised to certain buyers so when I tried to buy some sets in the case I told I couldn't. It should be first come first serve, no holdings.

I would have gone back to see about the missing pack if I noticed it in time. To add to what kbmum said, I imagine the actors are getting tired of signing all the cards too. It doesn't help that they created all the update/3d/memorable moments/villians. I kind of feel like they are just trying to cash in on it all. I enjoy many of the sets they have created but some are not necessary.

On Saturday I managed to get the lucky bingo for the staff. I have number 14/14. The other cards, not so lucky. I only got 3 bags while I was there though. Here's what 14 looks like.

There's another give away. If you buy a goodie bag, you spin a bingo wheel and if you get numbers 1-10 you get an exclusive card. Not sure what the numbers are. I heard from someone who won it, its a glove of some sort?
I have never had any problems getting the goodie bags and costume cards until this year. Since theres only 50 they sell out really quick. Even the crystal cards are selling quick.

Usually schools get progress reports/report cards during oct 16-18. I doubt thats it, but I think its funny. Aww, if I'd seen this before I'd have cancelled the Complete Your Collection event and seen if we could get all the parents to post their kids report cards Rats! I would have loved to see that! Some of us could have shared our old progress reports too.

I was hooked on this show from the very first episode! It's just perfect. Season 2 is better than season 1, but, I have to admit, I'm sick of Maryann. Just as an aside: Must suck (pun intended) to be Sookie and have Vampire Bill and Vampire Eric vying for her attention. Those are some handsome vampires. So I'm not the only one who doesn't care for Maryann? Good! That part of the story is starting to bore me. And in my opinion all the guys on this show are gorgeous! Not just the vampires, but the humans too.
