I love to get one of the Friends Forever pieceworks. I would die if I pulled the slayer prop card. And would like to pull the Double Meat palace piecework.

I just can't wait.

i am sorry roz i hope you and all forum members sell your cards for lots and lots of money   Smiley

This is a case of people buying up loads of cases in the hope of a quick turn around and nice fat profit.

Unfortunately with the oversupply of cases and the flooded market cards are selling cheaply.

And you  are getting a lot of product dumped at cheap prices. I personally if I had excess would ride out of the oversupply and wait to the market settles down.

Okay I think your done a fantastic job.

I only have one little nit picking thing. When you go to print the pages out like I did the other night it cuts the images off on the right had side. Would you be able to code it so it printed to fit on an a4 page.

That would be my only thing I would recommend as a possible enhancement.

Other than that I appreciate how much time and effort you have put into doing this project and us collectors will certainly use it.

I could put a "printable page" option... but which page was it you were having trouble printing? I'd like to try it for myself Smiley Cheers...

It was when I went to print out the lists of the cards with the images on for both series.

Well I have just been buying auto cards of "that site", no not the big fishes - they out of my league, besides one is bound to be in my case when it arrives next week (hey I figure one has to at least end up in Oz).

So I figured I work on getting the other ones regardless of what I pull and I'm doing it at a fairly reasonable cost too (much less than what I thought I would be paying).

As for the props and others - I wait until I see what my case returns before I venture down getting the rest and if the market is saturated, then I figure a week or so of waiting, watching won't hurt.

I had the same ease with Trilogy autos too - didn't buy a box and paid no more than US 40 and most of them I picked up for US15.

So I wonder if a lot of people have over spent?
9  Harry Potter / Prisoner of Azkaban Artbox Update set / Re:Triple autograph on ebay. on: November 11, 2004, 08:19:17 AM
Does anyone know the following information of how many of these autos have hit ebay and what they sold for

- Triple
- Harry
- Ron
- Hermoine

Congrats to everyone so far on their pulls Smiley

I have question, besides the biggish autos does every other insert card seem to be slow moving on ebay.

As everyone over spent or are they waiting for what their own cases/boxes have before picking up any other cards.
11  Harry Potter / Prisoner of Azkaban Artbox Update set / Re:Triple autograph on ebay. on: November 10, 2004, 04:45:22 AM
Okay seems all quiet on the bidding front, a rush of blood to the head I have to book mark for the countdown because there will be some action, unless another one hits ebay.
12  Harry Potter / Prisoner of Azkaban Artbox Update set / Re:Triple autograph on ebay. on: November 10, 2004, 04:39:30 AM

Sorry I had a little giggle when reading that. I know its not funny, but a tad amusing.

I wish you all the best Accio Wealth.
17  Harry Potter / Prisoner of Azkaban Artbox Update set / Re:Money to be made on POA Update ?? on: November 07, 2004, 10:40:27 AM
Well as an Australian for the last update I brought no boxes and solely brought of UK sellers - just the autograph cards.

This time around I purchased a case from a US dealer I use to get my Buffy/Charmed stuff.

I soley brought the case for the possibility I might get one of the big fish autos because I knew I would not have the dollars to buy it as a single card purchase. That is my gamble.

I will just sell off everything else I don't want to keep out of this case. Depends on what is in it of course Smiley

And whatever I get back from that I will be looking to purchase the other autos that I didn't get in my case. Thats of course if I get any. So it probably swings in roundabouts.

As this set is difficult to get a master, collectors will change their habits and only collect certain bits of it. Like me I'm just after the autos.

But I funded this by selling some of my Buffy stuff inserts I had collected over the years.
18  Harry Potter / Prisoner of Azkaban Artbox Update set / Re:Will boxes ever reach $100 on: November 07, 2004, 08:38:40 AM
Well then it is us the consumer who probably drove the print numbers up with buying up cases in early orders. I suspect when Artbox realised that dealers were placing such higher numbers for cases than the first run they increased the total print run. Who can blame them really - aint they only catering for the market demand.

I think that there might have been oversupply this time and I'm glad I stuck to my guns and only got the one case. The rest I pick up over time in accordance with my affordability range.

It will be a lesson for one and all Smiley

True, too early to tell, especially when we don't know the no's per card yet.
20  Harry Potter / Prisoner of Azkaban Artbox Update set / Re:Check out the update set! on: November 05, 2004, 10:09:38 AM
Wow - pricey. Does there come a point when it is too expensive?
