2  Harry Potter / The Leaky Cauldron / Re: Artbox redemption cards -- important info April 2012 on: April 14, 2012, 02:11:57 PM
Are you sure this is genuine? There is no June 31st and we are in April!  Shocked
3  Harry Potter / Order of the Phoenix Update Set / Re: LATEST on Kathryn Hunter and Brendan Gleeson auto`s on: January 29, 2012, 05:57:30 PM
Got mine (UK) yesterday morning, I'm delighted with it. Great looking card with good signature.
Best looking card to come out of OOTP in my view and whether it's worth as much as the Gleeson would have been I don't care. Very pleased to have it in my collection. Thank you Artbox.
4  Harry Potter / Memorable Moments 2 / Re: HP MM2 scans and comments on: November 08, 2011, 08:29:24 AM
Also Ci1 instead of Ci2 - so it's a Ci1 label on a Ci2 card. Great error card!
5  Harry Potter / Memorable Moments 2 / Re: HP MM2 scans and comments on: November 08, 2011, 04:05:23 AM
Is it that it states Prisoner of Azkaban on the reverse instead of Order of the Phoenix?
6  Harry Potter / The Leaky Cauldron / Re: HP Deathly Hallows Part 2 Set on: July 04, 2011, 10:18:20 PM
It's a real lottery - imagine getting an HP3 Update Box as your 'prize' and the box being a dud!!!

Also note that "(prize contents subject to change)".

Artbox being able to offer Hobby boxes of earlier sets which had supposedly sold out surprises me.
I may give DH2 a miss.
7  Harry Potter / The Leaky Cauldron / Re: HP Deathly Hallows Part 2 Set on: June 25, 2011, 11:45:01 AM
Surely prices Artbox charge for DH2 will be cheaper with such a drop in premium cards per case?
8  Harry Potter / The Deathly Hallows Part 1 / Re: Deathly Hallows Part 1 Update Set on: March 16, 2011, 02:07:24 AM
Is this set still going to happen?
Thanks, Alan

Looks to me like she had a problem with the pen. The C ends rather abruptly.

Hi, I have over 50 auctions ending on  Ebay! this weekend under my eBay name Stampline.
All are Harry Potter cards, a mix of autos, props, costume and filmcards. All started at 99p (I am based in the UK but post/ship to most of the world).

Here is the link:-

12  Harry Potter / The Deathly Hallows Part 1 / Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 scans and comments thread on: January 08, 2011, 12:00:23 AM
Surely there would be several takes of this scene so there could be any number of this drawing.  The one that sold for big money looks too feint to be the one seen in the movie.

14  Harry Potter / Prisoner of Azkaban Artbox Update set / Re: POAU Harry/Daniel Radcliffe auto -- possible fake on: December 12, 2010, 03:19:29 PM
Was the seller geononsports?  If so, he died last summer.

Sorry to hear that, I bought a lot of good cards from him, and never had any problems.
15  Harry Potter / Prisoner of Azkaban Artbox Update set / Re: POAU Harry/Daniel Radcliffe auto -- possible fake on: December 10, 2010, 04:46:26 AM
The card in question (forgetting the signature) is definitely paler and printing quality is poorer.
Certainly appears to be a mediocre fake.
16  Harry Potter / Memorable Moments 2 / Re: HP MM2 card list and box/case breakdowns on: November 24, 2010, 12:27:44 AM
I remember selling mine as a Buy it Now for £80 just after the set was released - so definitely a good card.
17  Harry Potter / Memorable Moments 2 / Re: HP MM2 card list and box/case breakdowns on: November 23, 2010, 08:33:48 AM
Great pull! Hedwig's perch well worth the price of the box!
18  Harry Potter / Goblet of Fire Trading Cards from Artbox / Re: Goblet of Fire Hobby Box on: October 12, 2010, 07:29:24 PM
Looks a great buy to me. Great swatch with the quidditch player and a very reasonable price!
19  Harry Potter / Goblet of Fire Trading Cards from Artbox / Re: Goblet of Fire Hobby Box on: October 12, 2010, 03:03:46 PM
Hi Likorish, I said,

"It is most likely a box would yield 2 common cards you could get for less than $25 with careful buying"

and

"I suspect that the best autograph cards (ultra rare) in this set could now be bought for less than an individual box" which I estimated earlier in my post would cost more than $100. If you can supply cheaper boxes please do!

Perhaps the 3 cards you mention would cost more than $100 each but with careful buying not a lot more and certainly cheaper than trying to obtain by buying boxes.

Alan

20  Harry Potter / Goblet of Fire Trading Cards from Artbox / Re: Goblet of Fire Hobby Box on: October 11, 2010, 06:26:58 PM
Hi Sean,
I have been an enthusiastic watcher/buyer of HP boxes and it has been several months since I have seen one of this set offered on eBay. I guess that you would need to bid over $100 to win/buy one of these now. It would almost certainly be better value to buy individual cards you like for that amount of money. It is most likely a box would yield 2 common cards you could get for less than $25 with careful buying, and would probably be cards you already have or are not looking for. I suspect that the best autograph cards (ultra rare) in this set could now be bought for less than an individual box.
