: Forum language! : Roz November 09, 2004, 03:58:05 AM It has come to my attention that not everyone keeps up with the latest in text typing! So, in order to cater for all our Shackers or "Shackeroonies" as Olly called us earlier (tut) shall we compile a basic dictionary here?
It could also be used to help with the US/UK differences in uses of English. I'll start us off LOL - Laugh out loud ROFL - Roll on the floor laughing LMAO - Laughing my a*** off L337 - "Leet" - Elite it pwns - "owns"/is a work of sheer genius/it rules LOTR - Lord of the Rings FOTR - Fellowship of the Ring TTT or TT - The Two Towers ROTK - Return of the King (to any of the above write U at the end to refer to the update set of cards from Topps) HP - Harry Potter PoA - Prisoner of Azkaban PoAU - Prisoner of Azkaban Update PS - Philosopher's Stone (Sorcerers for you US people!) CoS - Chamber of secrets GoF - Goblet of Fire OotP - Order of the Phoenix If it's typed by Roz - y u o means you ;) (or uyo for FTY ;)) PM - Private message I can't think of any more now! There's no shame in asking here either :D - I shall be sure to do it! : Re:Forum language! : mpcltd November 09, 2004, 04:21:32 AM Arent you forgetting MPC! ;)
: Re:Forum language! : Roz November 09, 2004, 04:39:24 AM MPC means Richard... commonly used by mistake even by people who speak to Richard... almost daily!
: Re:Forum language! : savage727 November 09, 2004, 04:56:22 AM And you thought you had to go to college to get an education!! ;)
