: Rumours on a 50 case incentive! : Roz November 03, 2004, 05:56:24 PM I am hearing now that there maybe 50 case incentives, which will probably be the only way (listening to rumours about the print run) to have a card numbered under 30!
What do you think it is? If it's the triple auto I think you might find people are content with the 3 separate autos - they look GREAT! But why should one of the big cards be a Incentive? After Artbox have published the new sell sheet? It would be nice if it was an archive box or something like that so that people didn't have to fork out thousands for a card that is numbered out of 30 again. If it was the triple signed autograph that would be insane as well, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Mark : Re:Rumours on a 50 case incentive! : gimli November 04, 2004, 02:14:51 AM I have to say that I do agree if you are going to have incentives then put them in the boxes too but the incentive cards are nice to get if you are a dealler and i wouldn't have ordered 25 cases in the first place if i didn't get a 25 case incentive card so it actually does work but I think for the collectors which is why the set should be made I do think all cards should be available in packs. yes i know i am shooting myself as a dealer in the foot but i am first and formost a collector and i know how annoyed i would have been if i never had a chance of getting a good shot at pulling the rarest cards out of packs.

"I CAN TELL YOU THAT THE 25 CASE CARD IS NUMBERED TO 172 CARDS. WHAT HAPPENED IS THIS WAS TO GO INTO THE WAX PRODUCT AND THEN IT WAS PULLED TO MAKE IT A 25 CASE INCENTIVE CARD AND WAS ALREADY NUMBERED. I WAS TOLD ONLY 58 OF THESE CARDS ARE TO BE IN THE US. I KNOW THE NUMBERS DON'T MAKE SENSE BUT THIS IS WHAT I WAS TOLD AND DEALERS ARE SUPPOSED TO GET AN EMAIL FROM ARTBOX EXPLAINING THIS " If the 25 case incentive card is numbered to 172, that makes around 4300 cases. That doesn't seem to be very good. Much like MPC's exclusive card (numbered out of 500) they will never all see the cold harsh light of day. Well I certainly hope not! Now as the the "58 in the US" comment - that confuses me. If there are 58 IN TOTAL then this makes sense - 1450 cases 1250 - Hobby and 200 to Japan (with no autos) So I would think the 58 was total amount released overall. : Re:Rumours on a 50 case incentive! : beckham1 November 04, 2004, 11:01:12 AM I don't see how there would be a chance that it could be the triple auto. Artbox has said too much about it to the general collector to not make it available in packs.

Just a thought. One thing we did know for sure last time very early, before the set came out was that there were only 500 cases, artbox has been much more secretive this go round.

I wonder if they read this forum when a lot of us were upset over the possibility of a large print run. This way, if it is very large, we don't know about it.
