Artbox Entertainment is pleased to announce that we are now SOLD OUT! Please be patient, we are scheduled to release on November 3, 2004. We are waiting for 2 more autograph cards to come in, we have decided not to use redemption cards for these two individual autograph cards. We are working hard on the November 3, 2004 ship date, if there are any changes, we will let you know!

 

I have some exciting NEWS for you on the costume and autograph cards. There will be 19 hobby costume cards (this includes the double costume card), 2 Exclusive costume tin cards, 10 prop cards, 2 prop case incentive cards and we also changed the autograph cards up to 15 different autograph cards, and this also includes the double autograph card. This will confirm all the rumors that are in the market place right now. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint have agreed to sign! The biggest news is the triple autograph card that will be signed by Daniel, Emma and Rupert!

 

WOW! It's great to have confirmed numbers on all the cards. This set is going to be a nuts to finish. I'll probably be like 50 and still missing many of these!

yeah, i love costume cards, but do you think the harry/cedric card will be out of /1300 like the weasley quidditch robe?

With the weasley quidditch robe being that big of a print run, I'm sure that they could most likely do the same for this one. However, I don't think they will. I have a feeling that it will be in the lower hundreds like 200, if not less!

awww, well, we still have a few days left until we find out for sure :)

I think fewer of the dual costumes will be produced, since it's most likely more expensive to produce this card than their standard costume card.  Imagine trying to get two swatches perfectly on a small card.

2 Colector Tin Costume Cards.....  ??? In the packs? Or directly as "Tintopper"  ;D

my attention now is turning to release dates. The original date was around the 5th but with auto's not back yet and no redemption cards being put in boxes hopefully. Then I can't see this being released next week. Although I don't think that is a bad thing if it means no redemption cards.

Yeah you are right there! That's exactly what my attention is turning to as well!

I had heard that the UK boxes had shipped. I hope this is untrue or that would mean the Cards Inc quota would be missing those last 2 autos. If anyone rings CI can they ask?

But I'll happily wait a week or two more for these last remaining cards not to be redemptions, they are a lot of hassle, especially for international buyers!

well I just talked to Cardsinc and they are still saying the 6th to me so that would mean I wouldn't get them til some time after 9th but you never know depends on how fast the shipping is I think they were playing safe with that date

So are these tin cards UK exclusives, or will they be in the US as well?  I guess no one has odds on pulling ont hough, huh?

Oh, and where are the creature cards?  Are they considered props or costumes?  There was also no mention of the cinema cards.

Well I talked to the dealer who is going to have my case drop shipped direct from Artbox and he was told that they are going to ship "in waves".  

He thinks they caught a lot of flack last time for shipping them all out at the same time so dealers on the West Coast got them a week earlier than dealers on the East Coast....so they are going to ship to the East Coast first, then Midwest, then West Coast.  That sucks - thanks jerks from the East Coast for complaining ::)  (I am sure it is dealers so I don't think that would be a slam to anyone on the forum ((US ONLY)).

So I dont' think I will be getting my case on Monday as hoped probably more like the 3rd or 4th.

Woo Hoo!!!  I am on the East Coast!!!!  How exciting!!  ;D

But really, if they do it this way, it will be good.  That means everyone should get them close to the same time.   That is, of course, if they don't get delayed due to waiting for two more signers.

Well.....The news isn't that bad, even though most of my cases are comming from the west coast as well! I waited this long, a couple more days won't kill me (I hope) :P

Shipping in waves makes good business sense.  If dealers know they can get the boxes faster from a West Coast distributor than from one on the East Coast, the East Coast distributors will lose sales.  I can understand why they complained.

The way I understand it most dealers already have there relationships and accounts set up with the distributors.  I know my local guy goes primarily through 1 distributer but also has an account with 2 others.  And has a buying quota for the price level he is given.

Of course I am sure they could get it from anyone as long as they have a resale license, but most stick with who they know and have accounts with.  

Point being I think the big issue was just dealers wanted to break cases first so they could be the first offering the singles on ebay.  Look at the Star Wars sketch cards the first ones hit the market went for a premium before the market value was established.

I know a guy who had one of the first Vin Diesel auto's (on ebay) from Riddick and it went for (I think) about $300-$400 I just checked ebay and there is one at $95 with 12 hours left.   ANYWAY - long story short who would want the other guy to get their case first.

Also anything shipping from the west coast to east coast usually takes 5 UPS days anyway.

Does somebody have information when Artbox sent Cases to the UK?

From what I understand - they haven't yet! But who knows?

If they have it means UK boxes have redemptions in!!!

Are the 2 missed Autograph Cards from the list?

From the 15 admitted? Or however 2 Cards those were originally already times mentioned and are not yet confirmed? (There was a Rumour for 2 more Autos)

Another message board has info that the boxes will now ship November 4, and that there may be redemption cards.  Does anyone here know about this?

We are still awaiting that info but seeing as we are awaiting it from the same company....! who knows?

Tomunique (American distributor to those that don't know) hopes to have his in on the 3rd

i would like to know the two autograph cards........ Maybe one of the Top like the triple or the Harry  :o that would be hard  :-\

Sent a redemption in that is worth many $$$ and then pray to get the autograph back  :'( :'( :'( :'(

My friend told me today that cardsinc have said they hope to have the cards on thursday at the latest (apparently they are still 3 days in front of most of usa for delivery) but dunno about redemptions, sorry

So the news is that they are to SHIP on the 4th, and not actually arrive at distributors until after that, right?  So sometime enxt week we should all hopefully get them, right?  I just hope they are out before the trading card show I am going to on the 13th.

That's cool samwise, no worries.  I have put it back now, so all it good.   :)

I will leave the Elvish Knives at home for Memorabilia .

I don't know what it'll be worth it means, but that was the email.

presumably autos rather than redemptions?

Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr for every day they delay cases they throw in an extra case topper :P

Uh oh -- the dreaded words "slight delay."  Slight as in two days, or slight as in two weeks?

By the way, does anyone have a larger scan of the sell sheet with the autos and dual costume?

Why is it so hard for Artbox to make definitive Infos public on the OWN HP? Like Inkworks, Rittenhouse.......

We pay for the cards, we are customers  but get no Infos  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
