Yes apparently ti's 12 autos in all plus the dual and triple... perhaps that menas 2 of the signers have been bundled together like Crabbe and Goyle? That would actually make their autos a pretty cool card :)

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: Tea_and_Fruit October 21, 2004, 03:10:01 PM
Or maybe a Filch + Mrs. Norris  ;D

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: sonarghost October 21, 2004, 05:51:59 PM
I really, really hope they get the Harry cards in! That would be a rush to pull one of them from a pack. Maybe one of us should volunteer to Artbox to help him sign :P

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: Roz October 21, 2004, 06:01:43 PM
You mean "help him sign" by standing over him and not allowing him any food til it's done :P ?

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: sonarghost October 21, 2004, 06:11:05 PM

1250 cases ish !!! COMPLETE SELL OUT - OVER SOLD !!!!

Help me out here.  Does this mean that you can't get them at all anymore/  Artbox is completely sold out?  Boy do i hope my little comic store gets the three boxes I ordered with him.

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: kbmum October 21, 2004, 08:44:50 PM
I believe it means that Artbox has sold the entire run to its distributors, who then sell to retailers like your comic book store.  Whether your store gets all of the boxes it ordered will depend upon whether its distributor allocates its boxes.

If the 1250 are only from Cards Inc. we have a BIG Problem. (If Cards inc. stands for UK)

Remember 1/3 USA, 1/3 UK, 1/3 Japan

But then we have 3750 Cases..... Hmmm so there is a chance that the 1250 Cases is the full print run.

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: Roz October 21, 2004, 09:16:38 PM
no no the 1250 is NOT just cards inc - they are not getting quite that many, Darren made that clear to me yesterday!

Guys we are getting too panicky about this! One rumour followed by another, it's too late now for anything to be changed, the print run will be whatever it has been decided to be, hopefully no more than 1800 and hopeflly just 1250 (with 200 cases disappearing to Japan).

Quite a lot of the print run is coming to the UK it's going to be hard to miss this one  ;D

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: zero October 21, 2004, 09:30:14 PM
Is it confirmed that there will be 200 cases being sent to Japan? I emailed Artbox like three weeks ago and when they got back to me, they couldn't confirm anything related to the distribusion. GAH!

I'm betting for my host-mother to stumble upon some boxes and hopefully buy some for me. Either way, I'll email her to about it for like the fifty billionth time tonight.

Anyways, it's very happy to here that the 19 autos have been reduced to 12 including the dual and triple auto. However, they will be entirely too hard to get unless your lucky enough to pull one. Thinking about the dual auto is going to be interesting. Like Roz said, it could be Crabbe or Goyle or even Stan and Ernie or Uncle Vernon and Dudley. I think they would be the only ones to make sense as a dual card.

... and the countdown continues!

How 'bout Harry and Ron? ;D

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: zero October 21, 2004, 09:35:23 PM
HEHE ... I just assumed they would be in the triple auto with Hermione, but who knows it could happen   :D

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: Roz October 21, 2004, 09:46:55 PM
Or Ron and Hermione ;)

That could explain the repeat signer??!!

But we shall have to see! All things will be revealed in time - and apparently some secrets will be revealed tomorrow! Any chance American time could turn into GMT just for tomorrow? Or else I won't get this info til evening ;)

Are you waiting for an Artbox website update or email from one of the VPs?

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: Roz October 21, 2004, 10:18:31 PM
They've told me to email them... but maybe it will be on the site too! :D

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: Tea_and_Fruit October 21, 2004, 11:03:42 PM
if there will be 1250 Cases and approximate 2 Autos pro Case we get 2500 Autos. That can not be right. We have now more autograph cards then last time. (4-6) And the POA Set have more than 3000 Auto Cards.

And now we have a few "Common" signers.

Example: Ernie

I would say 350-500 (like the Weasleys last time)

If we have 10 Common signers between 200 and 500 Cards we have a lot more cards then the 2500 (if we say 2 Autos per Case)  So there must be MORE Cards.

I think 3 Autos per Case.

Sorry for my bad english

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: samwise16 October 22, 2004, 12:31:00 AM
the last set neville (matthew) signed 600 and i'd say james and oliver must have signed the same. they were common cards. more would have been signed this time so i would guess the common signers would have signed about 700/800

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: Tea_and_Fruit October 22, 2004, 12:44:08 AM
It was as example meant that the calculation with the number of autographs per Case is not correct. There is many more autographs there than 2 per Case.

ROZ should  get out her calculator and make a new statistic  :P

Ok you have time till tomorow evening after the new Artbox Infos  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: samwise16 October 22, 2004, 12:48:55 AM
yes i agree, i think just like the last set some people will get alot more than what they should, Look on the NSU forum (Not that i ever recommend that place!) under box breakdowns and check out what people pulled out of cases, most of them got more than what the ratio said they would get.

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: beckham1 October 22, 2004, 12:50:26 AM
That does bring up an interesting point about the auto numbers.  An average of 200 each auto would seem to be the amount of auto's if they fall 2 per case.  Of course we all expect that the Harry will be rare, the triple and double will probably be pretty rare also and maybe one or two others.

But you would still think that most of the signers would sign at least the same amount as the last wave did for the first release (since the cases have more than doubled).  Any thought on this? ???

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: samwise16 October 22, 2004, 12:54:05 AM
I reckon most people will find 3 autos per case, i hope even more

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: Tea_and_Fruit October 22, 2004, 01:36:17 AM
i agree 3 or more per case if the print run is 1250 cases or less

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: kbmum October 22, 2004, 01:57:26 AM
If Artbox hasn't yet firmed up the print run, it would certainly be better to tell people 2 autos per case, then bump it up to 3, rather than the reverse.

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: Tea_and_Fruit October 22, 2004, 01:59:17 AM
We should tell everybody 5 or 8 Autos per Case.......  ;D

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: garage October 22, 2004, 03:18:13 AM
I did some analysis on the orignal POA set around the box breakdowns posted - of the 23 cases I had information on, the auto ratio looked to be very close to the 1:48 packs quoted (or total of 2500). This meant that only 300 - 400 of the more common signatures were released and 100 - 150 of the 4 rarer ones were available.

It looks likes they are using roughly the same number of autos this time around it is just going to be dispersed based on the total number of cases. Not sure if this will make them more or less expensive than the original set?

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: rns91294 October 22, 2004, 08:27:55 PM
I also feel that there may be more per case, but like kbmum said, it would be better for them to tell us a lower number first, just in case.  I feel the same may be true with the costumes as well.  I know the new information says 1 prop OR costume per box, but with all the customer cards they are making (depending on how they number them as well), there may be a chance for more, but it is better for them not to say.

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: beckham1 October 23, 2004, 12:49:04 PM
Roz,
My local guy printed out an email he got from his distributer confirming most of the info you posted on page 1.   A few other things it says (he actually printed it out for me and he said this guy is the #1 distributer for Artbox in the US).  Anyway  it said:

14 auto cards plus possibly 3 additional autos which are still unconfirmed by Artbox (this email is a week old so that may have been firmed up)  However it does state that the Harry Ron & Hermione autos are confirmed (again remember this info was over a week ago) and that they will also be signing a triple auto card.  MOST IMPORTANTLY "All four of these cards will be limited and should be much sought after"

It also reconfirmes 12 prop cards (2 being the case insentives) and 19 costume cards with varying print runs.

"Artbox still has some other unconfirmed cards including a double costume card and another double auto card.  They are unconfirmed because these cards are not in their possession, and they would rather not deal with redemption cards."

It also states
"Warning: The print run of this product will be larger than the 500 cases made of the original wave (artbox won't say how much larger) so while there will be more product available this time, there are also MANY MORE SHORT PRINTED AUTO's COSTUMES AND PROP cards to find."

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: Elle_driver October 23, 2004, 01:40:10 PM
I think that 19 costume cards seems a bit much, but hey, if they got the costumes and have to use 'em, then i'm all for it, (hopefully nothing /30) though :P

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: beckham1 October 23, 2004, 11:15:42 PM
I think we will see 5 or so that have short prints less than 500

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: Elle_driver October 23, 2004, 11:37:14 PM
i guess some of them would be shortprinted wouldn't they,  maybe they have obtained the trio's hogwarts ties? then they'd be around /200 - /300, but if artbox in the first place only had the 6 outfits that they used in the first set, then wouldn't they have a school shirt, school pants, school tie? ??? this would explain the pre-release costume photos of harry laying on the street and hermione doing work, because it just seems to make sense that WB sent complete outfits for use, not just a shirt, a cloak and another partial outfit, *my theory* (cloak, pants,shirt,tie,x3)(Sweater,pink t-shirt, Jeans, striped belt)(quidditch robes,x2)(grey t-shirt, pants, plaid shirt,Blue Jacket) (buckbeak, grimm) this easily makes up 19ish new costume cards plus the 6 ones already ;)

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: Roz October 23, 2004, 11:40:49 PM

"Warning: The print run of this product will be larger than the 500 cases made of the original wave (artbox won't say how much larger) so while there will be more product available this time, there are also MANY MORE SHORT PRINTED AUTO's COSTUMES AND PROP cards to find."

This really is interesting and I haven'e even had a whiff of this... oh come on Artbox stop beating about the bush and explain what you are really putting in this set!!!

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: samwise16 October 24, 2004, 12:39:46 AM
It is becoming annoying  :-\

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: beckham1 October 24, 2004, 03:34:17 AM
I wonder how short printed the triple auto will be?

Any guesses...I am guessing somewhere between 50-100.   Maybe even less (like 10).  That would be an awesome pull.  Just think if it was just 50 copies - and there are 1250 cases.  1 in 25 cases  :o yowzers.

That is a tough card or 1:250 boxes if you getting boxes.  I think my math was right on that.

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: beckham1 October 26, 2004, 02:33:16 AM
So no more actually info yet on the autos and costumes?

Artbox has to have finalized everything by this point.  Only a week left and most likely a few days til they ship to distributors. :(

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: Tea_and_Fruit October 26, 2004, 11:10:52 PM
This is definately annoying.  Probably Artbox already counts the money $$$$

Nevertheless sold off thus which one must make oneself thoughts around the check list or information for the collectors.

Sold out. So no infos like the last time. We get the infos when we open our boxes  :'( :'( :'( :'(

: Re:Cryptic info from cards inc
: beckham1 October 28, 2004, 12:27:47 AM
Roz,
Still no return email from Mike Simon at Artbox???

Home for lunch thought I would check - At least we have pictures of six prop cards! :)  I am trying to look on the bright side.  Well I guess we are back to finding out when the boxes get opened :'(
