"Below is some of the latest information obtained from a very trusted source:

Scheduled ship date: November 3, 2004

Autograph cards:

    * 14 in total, so far
    * 3 more possible, but still unconfirmed
    * Radcliffe, Watson, & Grint are CONFIRMED signers
    * There will be a triple auto of Harry, Hermione, & Ron in addition to each signing their own cards!!



Prop cards:

    * 12 in total
    * 2 are multi-case incentives
    * 10 will be found in packs
    * Cards will again be numbered, as in the 1st set



Costume cards:

    * 19 in total
    * Cards will again be numbered, as in the 1st set



Promo Sets being produced:

    * Silver foil (promos 1 & 2 were generally distrubuted through dealers, and 3 & 4 come 1 each per album)
    * Blue foil (incentive based on album purchases)
    * Green foil (incentive based on album purchases)
    * Red foil (incentive based on album purchases)
    * Gold foil (incentive based on card case purchase)



UNCONFIRMED information:

    * 1 double costume card
    * 1 double autograph card



It's up to you to believe this or not, but I got it in writing from a very reliable source.

I can not believe this.....

I would love it if there really was 19 costume cards, plus a dual costume, Daniel, Emma and Rupert signing would be great as i could have a better chance at getting an Emma auto!!! ;D and a triple auto??? this all sounds a little crazy, but it is possible, (imagine trying to track down 19 costume cards  :P)

As far as the prop cards go, the Artbox site has them numbered up to 13.  The two multi-case incentives are the Monster Book of Monsters and the Whomping Willow.   The others, so far, are grimm fur, Buckbeak's feather, Marauder's Map, wanted poster, fizzing whizbees, and Divination book.  There are also Divination Class Materials I and II.  There was talk of Hagrid's tie, but no confirmation of that yet.  So that's 10 confirmed, 11 if you count the tie.

Oops -- the tie would be a costume.  Back to 10 confirmed props.

The costumes are really plentiful this time around!  No wonder Artbox is saying one per box.

    * There will be a triple auto of Harry, Hermione, & Ron in addition to each signing their own cards yeah there have been rumours of this - but from the horses mouth at artbox himself (mike) he only seems to be talking of dual costumes and DUAL autos at the moment but we'll have to see ;D

    * 2 are multi-case incentives (yeah we know 10 case and 25 case incentives, Monster book of monsters and The whomping willow)
    * 10 will be found in packs (Hmm I really do hope so - this was something they were planning to do with MPC's exclusive card this time, 25-50 or so would be inserted in packs - almost as if to give him publicity and also so that people will not be able to say they won't collect non - pack pulled cards :P)
    * Cards will again be numbered, as in the 1st set (woo hoo I hope so)

Costume cards:

    * 19 in total

So far we know NOTHING on what these cozzies are... shame!

I think their good source is going to stop giving them info tho - in the end Artbox like to release info to Joe Public in their own time!!!   :-\ But to be honest they should hurry up - it's only 16 days, 4 hours and 12 mintues to release - (hooray for the countdown!!!)

Remember guys that a lot of biggies in the trading card industry sign up with new names to post info as they think they aren't traceable, actually they are incredibly traceable and some are so hilariously indiscreet it's untrue! So you just never know who really is posting!

well i have to say great rumours but i will hold judgement until i see whayt is actually in the cases but if there is to be dual or triple stuff this sounds like fun

There is no way I can even come close to a master set, or for that matter, a mini master.  I'll have to carefully pick and choose the cards I buy in addition to my boxes.  Hopefully, there will be costumes for other characters -- like Snape, Lupin, Sirius, McGonagall, and Dumbledore.  How about costumes for Lily and James, from the photo?

They have probably included the 2 creature cards in that - but you are right - this is getting silly high!

It only matters for completists tho  ;D

Roz, didn't you say once that Artbox wouldn't be making any other POA sets, and wanted to use all of the materials they had received?  With all of these inserts, plus the interest in these cards, it's no wonder they increased the print run.

19 Costumes.... well i hope we can trade.... Otherwise we have no chace to get all of them.

I have to say i don't think i will get everything and i have 10 - 20 cases to open then again when i get close i will just trade for stuff rather than open more boxes and still not get what i need

Ten to 20 cases?!  I'm getting three boxes.  Darn that preschool tuition...

I should point out i am in business as well as a collector although i am a collector first and foremost so if it takes 20 cases i will get as close as i can to a master set and sell the rest

Ah, that explains it!  It'll be interesting to see how many boxes/cases it takes to get a complete set (or close).

It's a sad time tho when you can't be sure of getting a master set in 10 cases  :-\

Yes that is sad isn't it, it sure puts the word "Trading" back into trading cards tho and makes it that much more worth it in the end if your a completionist  ;D

Question... and sorry if this was already asked.  With 19 costumes, are they saying it is one costume per box now, or is that still up in the air?  I like how inkworks says one per box, nad it is usually true.  I am just worried that of my 3 boxes, I may end up with duds.

I think it's one costume per box but they say that's based on how many costumes they put in the system over the entire print run  :-\

It's rare for people to get Duds, I am just exceptionally talented at it

So let me make sure i understand correctly.  You could get one costume per box.  There are 3 props per case and 2 autos.  If you happen to get a box with an auto or a prop in it, you should also still get a costume in that box as well?

Yes - on average every box will have a costume in and one in 2 boxes will have a prop or auto in as well... then there's chances at 35mm cards and all sorts :)

When you look at it that way (combining the odds for props and autos), even people who buy less than a case still have a good shot at getting some decent inserts.  It's too bad we don't know the print run so we could better assess the odds.

Yea i brought 5 boxes at first and did very well i think. I got 3 inserts in one box which was a warm feeling :p

Yeah it's a great shame we have no ideas on the print run or the numbers of cards available... but as soon as one of us gets a case and starts cracking them open we'll certainly know! I am relying on all you US regulars, Ztaylork, Sonarghost, KB Mum, RNS, and so many more to come forward with info - and (presumably) to gloat a little too  ;D

So even us who only get 3 boxes still have a chance at something other than just props.  I just can't imagine how much money I will be spending on eBay this time around.

Also, my boxes will be coming from a local store, so i might have them before some others who ordered them from other places.  I will be sure to post what I receive.  My husband tells me the other day that we will open 1 box per day (over 3 days).  Yeah right, like he could resist waiting. That will NEVER happen.  Not on my clock anyway ;)

Just watch -- you'll pull a costume and a prop out of your first box, and then he'll be the one tearing into the other boxes!

Oh, he is the one who finds things harder to resist!  There is no way he could do one box a day.  In fact, he will go through all three and then be searching online on where to buy more :-*

It'll be interesting to see which distributors/dealers are the quickest to ship the boxes.  When Artbox states that the release date is November 3, does that mean they are shipping the product that day, or is that the day the distributors and dealers should expect to receive it?

I talked to Potomac dist who I ordered some of my cases from and I think they said ship day (which is after they get them from Artbox) will be around the 10th of Nov.  So if you are picking them up from a local shop or dealer I think you could get them up to a week or so sooner then if you are getting them shipped from someone out of area or ebay seller.

Hopefully my local guy I am getting two cases from will have them in hand around the 4th or 5th as Artbox is only about 5 hours away he should get them pretty fast!

I hope to receive the few boxes that I did order shortly after the November 3rd release as I can only come home from the University during weekends. Knowing that they would be waiting for me at home and I couldn't open them and was stuck studying instead, would kill me!

The seller claims he/she will have boxes and binders IN HAND November 3, and they're 3,000 miles away from Artbox.

  I have dealt MANY times with this seller (trianglecards) and deal alot with him personaly. Many times he will drop ship the cases of cards to me to save alot of time getting me the cards!! Very good seller. One thing to keep in mind with him is that he is a Master dealer. He sells cases to other dealers at wholesale. He has many perks which is really cool (especially knowing him well!). I would not doubt that if he says the 3rd he is correct...but then again anyone can make mistakes.

Welcome icat - don't worry - almost half the board are in the UK and we will be just as slow to get cases - perhaps slower!

Well I do think it's weird the way card companies are suitably vague about release dates.... I think in general it ships on the 3rd... so I have no idea how triangle is getting his - perhaps he's flying down :P or chartered his own plane ;)

I get mine from the US from a seller I have used to order Buffy and Charmed stuff before.

I am awaiting prices from an Oz seller and will compare to US prices and order asap as I am getting a little nervous. The oz seller is really nice however had not got back to me on price so I am awaiting confirmation.....getting nervous....I just want to order NOW!!hehe

I will only be getting about 3 boxes depending on price, would love to get more but have already maxed out my credit card :(

Ive ordered two boxes from a UK seller, two from a US seller, and will prob collect two more from an Aus seller, depending on his price...
