: Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : olly October 14, 2004, 01:48:25 AM They are usually more expensive, simply because they can be.
Amazing that people pay those prices. People will be much better off approaching trusted dealers like MPC, myself, Gimli and D&M Cards. : Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : popple October 14, 2004, 01:50:53 AM Gimli as well.
Who are D&M : Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : mpcltd October 14, 2004, 01:51:40 AM Well Said Olly! :D
: Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : olly October 14, 2004, 01:52:10 AM : Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : olly October 14, 2004, 01:53:59 AM Gimli as well. Who are D&M I edited my post to include Gimli (sorry Chris) :) D&M - "Premium Dealers" You will find them at most UK shows. : Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : Roz October 14, 2004, 01:54:07 AM D&M used to have a rep on here DaveH, doesn't pop by much now - but I've not dealt with them so I can't vouch for them personally like I can for Olly and MPC
: Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : mpcltd October 14, 2004, 01:55:40 AM Did you pull the Hamill Olly or havent you opened anymore?

2nd lot and so far a Leia and Luke ;D : Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : Tea_and_Fruit October 14, 2004, 02:26:10 AM hmm the cinema cards look cheap if the ratio of 3 per Case is right
: Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : Roz October 14, 2004, 02:27:07 AM MPC... I didn't know you got a Hamill! Nice one!
Yeah Chris was a tad excited when he found his ;) Back to the point, D&M try to sell Hermione for £400 ish - so that makes Cards Inc's Ron look cheeeeeeeeeeep ;) : Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : Roz October 14, 2004, 02:29:08 AM hmm the cinema cards look cheap if the ratio of 3 per Case is right "cheap" wouldn't be the word I'd use ;) Well, they'd probably settle on ebay for a price around or slightly lower than the Lenticular case cards from the original set... what do you guys think? : Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : olly October 14, 2004, 02:37:33 AM Luke's are 1 per 24 cases.
Not really that many dealers took that many cases, so unless they are lucky (or jammy like gimli ;D) then the card will be rare. I won't be selling mine on eBay that's for sure. Its one card I don't want to undersell. If they all dry up they will only rise in value. Especially with Ep3 due out next year. : Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : mpcltd October 14, 2004, 02:41:32 AM It is a £2000 card basically - It is 3 times rarer than the evolution Leia and that is a £1500 card
Dont sell it for less than £1500 is my advice!!! : Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : kbmum October 14, 2004, 02:45:07 AM It's so hard to say what the creature and 35mm cards are worth without seeing one. The creature cards could be nothing more than foils, like the R and M puzzle pieces from the first set. If they're die cut in the shape of the creature, that might be interesting.
I've bought some Disney 35mm cards, and paid anywhere from US $5.00 to $20 for them. But, those seem to be more plentiful than an HP card that's expected to be 3 per case. : Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : Tea_and_Fruit October 14, 2004, 02:45:24 AM LOL
i did not realize that the prize is for 1 Card not for the hole set. : Re:Collector Zone prices for the update cards : greenpaw October 14, 2004, 04:36:15 AM I preordered a Pear Tree Leaf Card on the Collectorzone website last year before the 1st set came out.
The preorder price was 55 pounds. When it came out the price had gone up to 500 pounds so when they say prices are subject to change they are not kidding. :o Still it was a worthwhile pre-order! Inger |
