: Annoying sellers who end auctions seconds before the end : Roz October 07, 2004, 12:22:24 AM Well - it's happened 2x to me now that I have noticed. I have been watching/bidding on an auction and watching it as it goes up - 25 second before the end everything is normal!
Just before the end the auction looks like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6121934414&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT another seller who did it (with a set of Cards inc foils) was Haggy Crab! If you can't handle an auction selling low, don't use an auction - use BIN or add a reserve! This is hideously annoying! And I am sure there were still bids left to be placed! : Re:Annoying sellers who end auctions seconds before the end : gimli October 07, 2004, 12:40:56 AM i know what you mean these people make me sick
sell or don't sell make a decision. Use a reserve or start at the lowest price or use a BIN thats what i do and it may cost a bit more at times but you don't annoy your buyers and everyone knows where they stand after all i want people to come back and buy from me surely that is the most important thing. Are there so few sellers on Ebay that want repeat trade?????????? : Re:Annoying sellers who end auctions seconds before the end : blackcat20 October 07, 2004, 07:47:47 AM Ive had the exact same problem, with a box of TT cards. Price was reasonbly low, with 1 min to go I went to put in a nice high bid, confirmed it, only to be told the auction had "ended". Was really not impressed! >:(
