: Seller Dfaber7025 PROBLEMS : grecopa May 23, 2012, 06:59:36 PM I don't know if beware is too strong of a statement, but maybe don't try any transactions with this person unless it's officially on eBay. Dfaber7025 feedback of 260.
He had a Snape costume card that he had listed at $199. Cindy LMK of it a couple of days ago, but the auction had already expired. I contacted the seller and offered $165 since it was listed at $199 and the auction states that "no offer is too low". He countered with $185 and I accepted, with an additional $5 to cover shipping and insurance. He wanted the money sent as a gift, but I didn't feel comfortable with that and sent it as a payment so I would get some sort of Paypal coverage. Now he sends me an email saying he got charged $6 for the trasaction and he's also having to pay ebay fees for the listing, so he want's an additional $10 to cover it. Plus, I see he's already listed the card again on ebay. I told him to pack sand. It sucks, but I'll get one eventually. Kelly The big question is: Did you get your money back? : Re: Seller Dfaber7025 PROBLEMS : kbmum May 23, 2012, 11:45:17 PM Oh no! What a jerk. I wouldn't have sent the money as a gift, either. What eBay fees does he mean? If he's talking about the ended listing, that's not your responsibility, and the relisted item shouldn't have any fees at all. I think he's trying to get as close as he can to his original $200. Did he refund your money? With any luck, the final bid for the auction will be less than $100, which is what it should be. Too bad you can't leave him negative feedback.
: Re: Seller Dfaber7025 PROBLEMS : grecopa May 24, 2012, 07:33:21 AM He sent me another email stating that he sees my point and he mailed the card. He gave me the tracking #, so hopefully it will get here. If not, I'll be disputing the transaction. I need to go check ebay to see if the auction got pulled. Oy! ::)
: Re: Seller Dfaber7025 PROBLEMS : kbmum May 24, 2012, 08:52:37 AM He ended the auction. I was surprised to see that he doesn't live all that far from me.

Tell him, "I know where you live.", if things go south. I don't think that eBay will support you on aclaim because they say the this kind of transaction is against eBay policy...yadda-yadda-yadda, etc. Let us know how it turns out. : Re: Seller Dfaber7025 PROBLEMS : rns91294 May 25, 2012, 07:00:46 AM Well, glad to see he finally sent it. I really hope you get it! :o=
: Re: Seller Dfaber7025 PROBLEMS : grecopa May 27, 2012, 07:48:51 AM I got it today! Whew, that wasn't easy, but I'm glad I have the last card I needed for my costume collection. I'm done! It's kind of sad, actually, I accomplished my goal. ;D
: Re: Seller Dfaber7025 PROBLEMS : kbmum May 27, 2012, 08:52:06 AM I feel a lot better that you received it. I was worried for a while! Congrats on reaching your goal. :D
