I saw this last night. It is an amazing collection and I'm sure they have many more they are holding onto  ;D ;D. The variants in this set are really nice, but I feel like they might be a little overpriced on some of the cards, just my opinion. I've actually put an offer in on one card but no response yet lol!

I know this is off topic, but I recently found some mis-sealed packs in my HBP hobby box. Most of them are only open like an inch or so at the bottom but I'm not sure if people will buy them in this condition. I've emailed Kay twice about this problem and have not gotten any reply, I suppose they might not care as much now that they are stopping the HP collection. Have any of you had a problem with mis-sealed packs and did they do anything to replace them?

People won't buy packs that are mis-sealed, regardless of the reason for the mis-seal.    A one-inch gap would allow them to be searched for inserts.

I had a few. It was impossible to see what was in the packs. They are too tightly filled to separate them. In fact I opened them and one had an autograph.

With an inch-long gap along a seam, you should be able to see if there's a thicker costume or prop inside.

I figured this might be the case, but I would mention that these packs won't contain any of the inserts considering I already found the two possible in the box. Somebody on  :ebay: might want them if they are a good price I think.

Anyway, I still haven't heard anything from Kay about getting some kind of replacement and I even offered to send in the damaged packs. Its been over two weeks since I sent the first email about this problem. Do you guys know any other way to contact Artbox or their people? It just stinks to have paid full price for a box and not be able to sell the packs as sealed.

Some great finds in that collection, her pricing is good on some of the cards. I saw a POAU Fizzing Whizee with part of a face and eye for $20...someone bought it quickly, hopefully from this forum! Some cards are priced really high though. There was also a dueling cloth prop from CoS for 150, which i imagine was pretty reasonable too.

Must be painful to sell such an expansive collection..

I should imagine it's harder to put a sellable price on most of these cards. There's always, in the back of your mind, the price you paid originally. My own view is that whatever you get is what it's worth. The cash laid out originally is gone. I think we will see a few of these at a reduced bin or even auctioned. As it was said previously, it's interesting to note the cards that are not there.

I always found the "flex" method was most indicative of props and costumes. Of course, the CFC cards are of different thicknesses, some almost as thin as base cards.
However,  :rofl: , with a few thousand flexes you soon are able to discern the difference.

This is the method I go with as well, and it saves you money in unopened packs. Considering its a guaranteed two per box with the HBP it's nice to know that you got everything.  I know collation was horrible with POAU, but am I correct to think that its only possible to get two per box with HBP?

The seller of the collection mentions that she has a master set for every release so it would be awesome to get pictures of the whole collection. But hopefully she will just continue to list more items. Its funny to think that the ones listed might be her least favorite or duplicates  :rofl: especially with the amount of Radcliffe, Watson, and Grint's she has listed its nuts.
