: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : grecopa November 16, 2010, 09:04:17 AM Has anyone else gotten a catalog? I've gotten 2 so far. One is the regular Noble catalog and the other is a strictly HP catalog. I was really suprised at all the new HP stuff, a lot of which is not on the website yet. They have everyone's wand available now, and I mean EVERYONE, even all the unnamed death eaters for a total of 59 different wands. What really caught my eye were the new artefact boxes. They have boxes for Harry, Ron and Hermionefor just $35 each. The boxes are 8x11 inches and they look really nice. Here's a description of what's inside:
Harry's set includes: Hogwarts acceptance letter, Sirius Black poster, Quidditch world cup ticket, Lily Potter letter to Sirius, Hogwarts luggage tag, Order of the Phoenix lenticular photo, Dumbledore's Army signature list. Hermione's set: Love potion bottle, Yule ball snowflake ornament, School timetable, Owl exam, Yule ball poster, Lockhart signed photo, Hogwarts Express ticket. Ron's box: Gryffindor uniform stitched crest, Quidditch world cup map, Howler, Dumbledor trading card, Chudley cannons poster, Weasley betting slip, Weasley twins product package. They only show a couple of photos of the replicas, and I know that McGonanall's signature on the acceptance letter isn't accurate and there's a strange border around the envelope. The Sirius poster looks good, but I can't tell what the actual size is. The Quidditch ticket looks nice, but I'm not sure what it's supposed to look like. What I would REALLY like to see are the contents of Ron's box. It would be worth the price for me just to have an accurate Howler and Dumbledore card. I can't find any other photos or descriptions online. I need to know more! : Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : rns91294 November 16, 2010, 09:45:10 AM Is this in the HP brochure only? I got their main catalog and these aren't in it!!!!
Of all the things, I would like to see the Howler and the Hogwarts Express ticket. I would love to have both of those.... Oh, and I have a ton of products from them. The Hogwarts Express train, Marauders Map, wands, Hedwig, Fawkes and my favorite....the replica Hogwarts Castle. My wonderful Hubby got that for me for Christmas one year. Love him. : Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : grecopa November 16, 2010, 10:09:36 AM It's a Harry Potter only catalog and it's 24 pages long. I got it today, which is about a week after I got the regular one. I love Hermione's red crystal necklace, but it looks like a gold chain even though it says sterling silver. If it's really silver, I want!
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : LikORish-Spider November 16, 2010, 11:04:19 AM I received the catalog with multiple movie goodies. There are a lot of Wands. I attended the Harry Potter
exhibit when it was in Chicago. One of the props was the Gilderoy Lockhart wand. I was looking for it in the catalog. I did not see it. Perhaps it is in the all Harry Potter catalog. : Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : rns91294 November 16, 2010, 07:07:16 PM That is one wand they should have. Especially if they have all the unknown deatheater wands.
As for that necklace, it is in the catalog I received too. It DOES look gold. Someone is wrong, the picture or the description. You can call Noble Collection. I dealt with their customer service several times and they are one of the best around. The necklace would look even better in silver. I never checked my mail yesterday....I hope the catalog is in there. Will have to go check today. : Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : grecopa November 16, 2010, 07:31:53 PM They don't have a Lockhart wand in the catalog! >:() They have wands for Pius Thicknesse, and some one named Yaxley. I have no idea who they are, but no Lockhart? That's crazy.
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : kbmum November 16, 2010, 07:40:19 PM I've looked through the website and can't find the artifact boxes. I'm really interested in the Lily letter to Sirius, since this is something that hasn't been in the books or movies.
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : LikORish-Spider November 17, 2010, 12:41:23 AM They don't have a Lockhart wand in the catalog! >:() They have wands for Pius Thicknesse, and some one named Yaxley. I have no idea who they are, but no Lockhart? That's crazy. I think that Pius Thicknesse was the new Chief Auror that took over for Scrimgeour and Yaxley was one of the Aurors that went with Fudge to arrest Dumbledore and was stunned by Schacklebolt. I may be wrong. The necklace may be gold plated (microscopically) sterling, they do that a lot. Keeps it shiny. : Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : portlaw November 17, 2010, 02:19:20 AM who is the maker of these? ???
and is there anyway that i can get any of these here in ireland? :) : Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : richbarb94 November 17, 2010, 02:29:12 AM yaxley is a death eater. he is in the first chapter of deathly hallows and is the one who walks with snape to----can't mention this yet, the movie has not been released!!

I got the all Harry Potter one today in the mail. I must say, that Quidditch ticket does look nice. I still want to see the train ticket and the howler though. If they ever list them on their website, maybe they will show all the contents. It is nice that you can see some of the items on the boxes, but of course, they don't have the ones I want to see. The train ticket is there, I think, but it is really hard to make out.
Of all those wands I am shocked they don't have Lockhart. They have almost everyone else. I want the Dumbledore Chocolate Frog card too since Universal only has the four House leaders in their chocolate frog boxes, and no Dumbledore. : Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : richbarb94 November 18, 2010, 08:43:41 AM some of the death eater wands are very similar to the wands you can buy at olivander's shop at harry potter in universal studios, orlando. i know of at least 2--the deatheater wand called skull and the one called snake. i got the skull for my son and the snake for me. looking at the catalog from the above link, the ones form noble are more colorful, but they look like the same shape and design to me.
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : rns91294 November 18, 2010, 09:37:38 PM Don't always trust how they look in the catalog. I have Harry's wand from Noble and it doesn't look exactly like it does in the catalog. Still love it though.
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : grecopa November 19, 2010, 04:11:46 AM Yeah, the catalog makes everything look better than it actually is, but that being said, their stuff is still VERY nice.
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : portlaw November 19, 2010, 03:05:44 PM thanks for that kbmum :D
im going to put in my order for the harry and ron artefact boxes :) : Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : rns91294 November 19, 2010, 10:26:13 PM Can you PLEASE post pictures of the stuff....especially the Howler? I want to know what the platform ticket looks like too, but that is in Hermione's box. Shame we can't pick and choose what we want in the boxes.
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : portlaw November 19, 2010, 10:41:25 PM i will do. I dont have a scanner so the pictures wont be the best but i will do my best to :D
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : portlaw November 19, 2010, 11:01:19 PM And the only reason why they the 3 most popular things in different boxes is cause they'l make ther money that way by hoping the die hard fans will buy all 3 :(
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : portlaw November 21, 2010, 03:31:46 AM Ok well ive been in contact with noble collections and they said it has been back ordered till january 30th so i guess we'll have to wait till then :(
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : rns91294 November 21, 2010, 11:07:11 PM That sucks!
Well, after seeing the movie, I decided I want Hermione's bag and Luna's Dad's necklace. I'll wait until after the holidays to order anything though. Just in case my hubby buys me something. : Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : Mike December 12, 2010, 10:51:40 AM I asked for all the Artefact boxes for Christmas so if I get one and no one has scanned anything from one by then I'll do it for everyone. :)
I like this update very much. The time span between this update and the last was very long so I'm happy this update added to the collection immensely. : Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : LikORish-Spider December 13, 2010, 12:08:26 AM Yeah, I only see about 36 wands that I want. YIKES! --- $1026.00 plus the shipping.
(And there's no Professor Lockhart wand, yet. I saw one in the Chicago Exhibit, so I know it exist.) Not to mention about a dozen or more goodies. : Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : grecopa August 17, 2011, 10:10:43 AM Did anyone end up getting one of the artifact boxes? I'm wondering if the props are any good.
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : portlaw August 17, 2011, 04:50:04 PM I went to London there last week sometime to see athletics and there is a massive toy store called Hamleys and brought the sister in and on the top floor there wasw the harry potter noble collection with everything there like all the wands artefact boxes etc for sale and they had some displayed in glass cases and in my opinion they seemed low quality i would have bought one maybe two but for they looked very cheap and not well made, that may just be the way i saw them others may have bought them and thought they were great but just my opinion on it
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : rns91294 August 17, 2011, 06:36:57 PM Bitsy and I both have all three boxes and are very pleased. The boxes themselves are very nice. And I don't just mean the contents inside, but the actual boxes are gorgeous. The only reason the contents "seem" low quality is because a lot of them are paper items. So, they are replicas of the onscreen items, but they are paper, so how high of a quality are you expecting from that? The Hermione Christmas ornament is gorgeous as is the Yule Ball poster, Quidditch World Cup ticket and Chudley Cannon poster. The Order of the Phoenix photo is fantastic (maybe my favorite item). The wanted poster is poerfect as well as many other items in there (like the DA list, which I also love). The Howler is disappointing, as it is in a brown envelope, not red. The Platform ticket is not as shiny as I expected. So, there were a few negative features, but all in all, I was very pleased with them and love having them as a part of my collection. I thought they were each worth the money, but I am a die hard fan, so in the end it is up to you. I own a TON of Noble Collection items, and in my opinion, all of their stuff is VERY nice.
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : Bitsy August 18, 2011, 07:08:52 AM Like Sara said, the boxes are beautifully made and I absolutely loved the contents of each box. The posters (Wanted, Yule, Chudley Cannons) are exceptionally well done--to me, they are frame worthy. The Order picture is lenticular and even has a crease to give the impression of it being folded, like the one in the movie. The Christmas Ornament is one of my absolute favorites--it's going on the tree!
There are other items like the luggage tag, Gryffindor patch, Love Potion bottle with box, etc. that are fantastic! Sara pointed out the weak points, but even they are still fun. I was elated with everything. I've never been disappointed with anything from the Noble Collection. :) : Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : rns91294 August 18, 2011, 07:20:25 AM And if you are disappointed, Noble will gladly accept returns. I had an item sent to me damaged and was able to get a new one shipped before returning my old one. When I got the new one, it also had a return label and I was able to send the damaged item back in the new items box at no cost to me. Their customer service is great.
: Re: NEW Noble Collection catalog - Nov. 2010 : grecopa August 22, 2011, 07:11:57 AM Thanks for the info! It's too bad the the howler is brown, but I'll probably end up getting at least one of the boxes eventually. Now for another question. They have wall mountable wand stands for Harry, Hermione, Voldemort and Dumbledore. Didn't they used to have one for Ron also?
