Hey all!
So, as we all know, life throws you curves almost all the time. And during these times, priories get reevaluated (hope I spelled that right  ::) ).
Well, my life is doing a total loopty loop! And there are many things that I need to take care of, some of that
being my children. They are my life and I have to do what I have to do for them.
So....

 :'(

I'm considering selling my Harry Potter collection. I think that most of my sets are master sets with many, many, MANY variants.  ::) :P
Only thing I can think of that I don't have is all 4 wand incentives. I only have one.
But other than that, I have them all ( I think, LOL)
Probably within the next few weeks, I'll start listing things on ebay (ouch).
I will consider offers off ebay if anyone is interested. Please send me a message.
If I don't respond right away, please be patient. I work two jobs right now, and still jiggle the 4 kids in my spare time.
 
This may come as a shocker to some of you. But, gotta do what I gotta do for my kids!  ;D

What's your eBay ID? Still, I am in shock. I understand the need for extra cash, but I don't know if I could have the same balls as you to sell off my collection. I would just be too sad. Would  have to find other ways to make money.  :rofl:

I feel so badly about the situation you're in, but I totally understand that sometimes things just have to be done (especially for your kids).

Make sure you put a link to your auctions here, along with some scans of your rarer cards.  There's a new fee scale at eBay, so if you start some of your auctions at 99 cents with no listing fee -- the ones you know will sell well -- you could save a little money (although the final value fees are higher than they used to be).

Good luck with the auctions. In a horrid way it will be nice to see all your variants again (and maybe have a chance to win one/two) so feel free to make sure we all know about it on here.

OMG!If i sold my collection of Harry Potter Master sets,I would expect the people in the white jackets to come take me away! :rofl:
I guess everyone has there own priority`s in life and hope you make enough money to help out your family! :)
I couldn`t guess how much my collection is worth as i have everything inc the four wand cards and the pear tree leaves prop! :D
If you do list your set the please let us know your ebay name.

Of course your kids take priority over everything else, yes even cards(!) and I honestly think that if you're seriously considering offering them for sale, then now is the time to do it before the final films are released and in-between set releases.  ;)

I echo Roz's sentiments over seeing your variants once more and perhaps being lucky enough to snag the odd one or two (if I'm lucky! ::)), so when you're ready, please give us the nod on here, okay?
Obviously it would be better for you to try and sell them away from ebay and their hideous fees, but then again, I'm sure that many of the cards from the earlier sets will fetch mega-$$$ if offered on Ebay.

I'm really going to miss being able to view your collection online.  It's always been a model I've tried to follow in adding to my collection.  I know you're going to miss them too.  Good luck on the auctions.  I wish I could bid on all the ones I've drolled over, but money's tight everywhere.  Please let us know when they come up at auction.  If nothing else, I want to follow them and see what the final prices are.

I've sold a few through private sales. I'm going to start listing some on ebay....mmmm, possible today or tomorrow.  ????
There will be some that I have decided to keep... favorite props, most of my autos, and probably the film cards.

sorry to hear about things being bad wish i had been around but have lost a family member and things have been tough lol working two jobs as well . If you ever need to chat let me know have skye and am up all hours
