i was lucky enough to get a fawkes feather prop card, a gleeson redemption card and the green foil pack for the ootp set. i now have masters sets of CoS, PoAU, GoF, OotP, OotPU, HBP, MM2, 3-D series 1, and 3-D series 2--hooray!!!

i am still interested in the other cards listed above if anyone is willing to part with them.

Oooooooh, that makes me feel very very old. Or at least an 'old' collector. I remember all the confusion about that card having the same front as the Lik O Rish Spiders card...and Black Pepper Imps... most lazy ;)

What' the number? If it was an auction did you add it to the YAK SHACK auction data base? Super looking card!!

i just wanted to share a picture of the 2 newest additions to my collection---the lick-o-rish spiders and chocolate frogs prop cards from the prisoner of azkaban series. the spiders card is #59/70 and the frog card is 16/86 ;D ;D

is that the card where everyone thought that the word began with a "B" and rhymed with witches?

Heh heh yep, that's the one Rich and yes, I DO remember that particular swatch - the confusion over the medieval-style letters 'B' and 'W'!!  ;)  :rofl:

Sadly, I can't remember who had it when we first talked about it though, so I don't know if that card now resides in a Yak Shacker's collection or not.  :-\
Congrats on your recent acquisitions Rich - you found some really nice swatches on those cards! :)

It was in a Shacker's collection.  The price guide has a listing from October 2004 for that card, but I'm almost positive it was sold again within the past couple of years.

hmmmmmmm yes, now that you mention it, it has sold on Ebay more recently ... no longer than 18 months ago - not 100% sure who the buyer was though, I have the idea that perhaps Marlon bought it and sold it on?
All I can remember was that I was miffed at missing the card when it came up for grabs this last time around as I'm fairly sure it sold as a b-i-n and well under price too!  >:()

well, i have been lucky to make some major additions in my quest to complete a master set of harry potter cards. thanks to jackie, (hp family on the forum) i was able to add the 3 wizard coin cards from sorcerers stone. i also picked up a platform 9 3/4s ticket card from gbear 30 which completed the master set for sorcerer's stone.  ;D ;D

i was oh so close to winning the pear tree leaves card, but was outbid with 20 seconds to go :'( :'( :'(

that leaves only 2 cards to complete my entire collection--the pear tree leaves card from the prisoner of azkaban series and harry's wand card from the goblet of fire update series. if anyone is interested in parting with these rare cards( :rofl:) i would be very interested in hearing from you. please email or pm me if you are considering selling these cards.
