It was bad enough when people just stole my pics and uploaded them!

Now they are directly linking to my photos and using my bandwidth!

But remember that with such external linking you lose control over what is shown in your auctions...

How did you find out the seller was linking to your photos?

well the winning bidder on my auction had 1 feedback - I was being nosy and then I saw my logo right there?

I can change the pic in a flash - donations of hilarious pics gratefully received  ;D

That happens to us all the time Roz, we made a gif image blinking "I steal Bandwith from other people" "I am a theif" "Do not bid on my auctions"

funny thing is we looked back a day later and people were still bidding  ::)

we see auctions and websites with our logo on the bottom of the picture all the time, we just laugh it off, little advertising for us I guess  ;D

But that was pretty funny had my laugh for the day.

It was fun while it lasted!  The seller must have checked the auction, because the picture is no longer in any of his/her current auctions.  However, if you go to the feedback section and click on the auctions numbers, you'll see that the seller didn't bother to remove the links there! ;D

By the way, Crystyles, I've seen your "I steal bandwith from other people" gif.  I wondered why a seller would put that in an auction -- now I know!

Ahh well, it was fun whilst it lasted :)

Next time it happens we can put together a nice image with the EBay logo saying "Official EBay notice - this seller is untrustworthy and you bid on this item at your own risk. EBay will not offer any compensation for items or monies lost in dealing with this seller"

Could be good for a laugh :)
