After a LOOOONG time of planning on open these on some rainy day, and though it's not raining, I've bought a house and have no curtains and basics, I have finally decided to sell off my set of sealed boxes:

First up, there's a set of sealed Hobby boxes (i.e. there's a chance of autos/costumes/props/filmcards etc. depending on which box it is) from:
1 - Prisoner of Azkaban Original
2 - Prisoner of Azkaban Filmcardz
3 - Prisoner of Azkaban Update
4 - Sorcerer's Stone
5 - Goblet of Fire
6 - Goblet of Fire Update
7 - Chamber of Secrets

Obviously most of these boxes are now really old and rare, so why not PM me with an offer if you are interested. It's a cracking way to add to your collection and to get yourself a pristine base set.

Also, I have some Prisoner of Azkaban Update Retail boxes, these have the base cards, a special retail-only foil card set (which can be quite tough to track down - you would probably need 2 boxes to make a foil set, but I have spares so we can negotiate), these boxes usually contain either a Happy Potter black cloak card, or a George Weasley Quidditch Robe card. I'm looking to sell these for ca. £10 each plus postage.

Also up for grabs are Goblet of Fire Retail boxes. These contain the base cards of course and the foil cards. I'm looking to sell these for ca. £10 each plus postage.

P.S. Looking at the PoA and GOF boxes right next to each other at the top there makes me realise that the graphic designer for the GOF box totally ripped off the design for the PoA box ;)

Well, all of the sets were based on Gary Gerani's original graphic design, and even if he didn't participate directly in some of the later sets, he set the standard. When PoA first came out, one of my first impressions was "Gee, the basic card layouts and designs look very much like the Lord of the Rings sets."

With POA when Artbox was entering a huge new international universe, they were clever to commission "the best" ... and when you tap into general designs that are proven to work well, you tend to say a variation on the theme looks pretty good.  ;)

Well, that's true to be fair. I still have my PoA promo cards signed by Gary Gerani which is pretty snazzy.

Artbox definitely learned from the mistakes of others when they started out - they really did start with a bang didn't they?

Right - adding to the goodies from yesterday.

A set of 2 Chamber of Secrets (hanging) Mobiles, these were promo items back in 2002 - these were usually found in Cinemas etc. They measure approx 60cm by 40cm (no ruler involved, I can measure them if you have concerns about size)

For your neighbors sake, please make sure you have clothes on when you pull yourself together in front of your windows.  Where I live not having curtains, shades, or blinds up is the latest fashion statement.  Personally I love my blinds.

Yeah blinds are good, clothes come in handy too, lol   8)

OK OK guys calm down... no one overlooks me... all I can see from my windows is trees, trees and more trees, which gives me respite for buying curtains until the leaves fall off in winter ;)

Ah, but who's lurking in those trees, trees and more trees? ;)  By the way, some pictures would be nice!

Yeah some piccies would be great... and a housewarming also. Though I feel a need to get some furniture in. Even the most hardened collector would be taken aback by my entire spare room of collectables (I feel a little ashamed!)

Don't be.  I'd love to have a room just for my collection.  Do you have a house as big as the American producer, Aarron Spelling?  His wife has a whole room for her doll collection too.

No, no not at all. This is a room which must be reclaimed and used as a study/music room... this is my first home so it's not really a spare room (or spare 'oom as Narnians would say). All will improve with the purchase of furniture :) Tonight I'm wardrobe selecting so that's a start. It'd help if I could stay in the country to sort it all out :(

I have a few here which need a home, I think they have unopened packs in them, but don't get excited, the best stuffs will have been extracted already, though I suppose you never know... (now I have given myself a nervous twitch, perhaps I should open them...). Anyway, box alone, anyone interested?

Hey Roz - If memory serves me (and it may not) I think there were 2 or 3 different versions of the MM resin box, right?  If so, which one do you have? I can't recall what makes it super special.  If I'm wrong, I'll just go to the corner and keep quiet  ;)

There are two versions of the resin box.
One lid has Harry on a broom, 375, one per case.er boxes.
One lid says "Harry Potter" no Harry on broom. Kay told me that there were 100 made for licensees.
No card differences in them, same cards selection as the black fiber boxes.

Perhaps Roz can verify.

Oh, sorry, I suppose I was being a bit naughty. No, not really 'super super' special. Just the 1/10, 1 posh box in every 10 in the case, these have Harry on rather than the MM logo, so similar to the one in the price guide I refer to in my earlier post.

So, as I mentioned about a hundred times before I'm having a bit of a clear-out of spares/duplicates please take a look as some may be the final piece for your collection - (or even better - the starter piece!)

I am really making the effort to sort out the base sets (it's laborious I can tell you). I do have a wide range of LOTR, Harry Potter, Superman, Batman sets etc, and do get in touch as I'm more than happy to strike a 3 sets for £10 plus postage deal for Shackers for many of the sets.

Now, I'm sorting through base sets (new years resolution, use 2nd bedroom as a study/music/relaxing room rather than storage for card stuffs!) - and I've got to the Goblet of Fire base sets and retail boxes.

If anyone wants one of these sealed factory fresh RETAIL boxes on the right to open fresh and make up their own base sets please give me a shout ASAP as I'm opening, sorting and packing these up - you should in theory get 2 base sets per box, but I have stacks of spares and so can probably help out if you don't.

Quick folks (as in, please let me know via PM In the next 24-48 hours) as I'm really really sorting these out :)
