I`ve read alot about how he said no to the films but his kids were fans so he did it for them against his judgement, so since then i`ve gone off him big time. If you look around you`ll see on the internet alot of interviews with him saying how much he hates it all!! It put me of him big time(think i`ve said that before  ::) ,   :-\

But never mind thats life  i suppose and this morning when i watched gmtv and they put on the trailer i was over the moon  ;D .
I like to think its fate because i got  the morning off work and dont normally watch tv but did today and saw the trailr so its made my day, lol,  :P  :D

Ooohhh, Dumbledore fighting the Inferi!  This movie looks great. :)  As for Ralph Fiennes, he's being a jerk. :P

Meh - as long as Fiennes puts on a good show and is nice to the fans, I couldn't care less :P ;)

Just remember, not too long ago, Emma Watson was rumoured to want out of the movies.

Yeah agree a bit but ralph should know better, hes alot older than emma watson and has kids himself so shouldnt really belittle a movie career thats propelled his career sky high, whilst i can totally understand emma as shes a young girl.  ;)

Sure, Fiennes may not have liked the first two movies - so what? A lot of people didn't like them. If he constantly whinged NOW about how he hates Harry Potter and that he hates doing the movies, then I would think he is a bit of an idiot. But to take a few comments that he made BEFORE making the movies and inferring that he must hate the movies now is taking it a bit far IMO.

The link i showed was an example taken when i first noticed he started saying he didnt like the movies. He has since said in many many other interviews how much he hates the films and if it wasnt for his children he wouldnt have ever accepted such a rubbish role, as i think i initially said, and has made it obvious since then that he doesnt like the films.
its my opinion that for me its taken the sparkle out of things i`m not taking it too far, its just  how i feel,  ;)

Yes honestly i wouldnt just say something like that if i hadnt been reading lots of things he`s said. I do understand what you mean about the media though but in one of his biographys it was mentioned he felt it took away the seriousness of his acting abilities and belittled them, now i dont know if this is true or not, it might not be, as you say it could just be made up. Who knows anymore  ??? .

wow!!! It looks amazing and Nov is on the horizon  ;D  Dark-ish tone indeed.  As far as I'm concerned, Mr. Fiennes is the one losing out here and perhaps it's just as well to have someone who "wants" to be there (rather than someone who's just doing it for his kids).  Don't get me wrong, I love Ralph Fiennes as an actor but take some objection to an actor who gives off the air that he doesn't care (and doing it out of "pressure").

Regardless, I love the trailer and am counting down the days.

As for Ralph Fiennes, I suppose it is sort of poetic that he plays Voldemort.  ;) I didn't think he had children... ???

Perhaps he was just joking around about it all...maybe bringing a little bit of Tom Riddle to the interview.  ;) He's a brilliant actor, so it wouldn't surprise me if he was acting a bit in the interviews.

That was terrific, I can't wait!!  The young Voldemort is a cute little guy, but still very creepy.  Nice!

Hi, i think if my memory seves me rightly(so maybe its not correct  ???) but he was being interviewed and said he was going to turn down the role and then got home and the kids wanted him to do it for them. AAHH maybe it wasnt his own kids he meant, i`m just going off memory, i read it about 2 weeks ago so its along time for me to remember something, lol,   :-\
I think money has alot to do with his change of heart about the films, going from hundreds of thousands in the first film to millions in order of the phoenix can have that effect on people i`ve heard, lol  :D Then again who knows he may like the role now,  ;)

At the end of the day it doesnt matter at all, we all love watching the films and i`m an especially crazy fan  :o , and even though what he said did put me off him a bit, his part doesnt last long  :D

Just asked hubby about ralphs children, thought i was going crazy as i did read about kids he went home too, was just about to book myself in the docs  ::). Hes just told me i`m not going crazy, lol, it was ralphs long term partner annis`s of 11 years 3 children he was talking about and that he went home to!!

The important thing is he does a good job as Voldemort doesn't he.....hopefully it will continue in the next films :o=
It would be horrible for him to not finish the series now....its taken me this long to get used to the new Dumbledore(who I still don't like....he's more like an old Hippie ;D ) it would be awful to have to get used to a new Voldemort :(

Richard Harris would be a tough actor to replace in ANY role. Make it a very VERY cherished role like Dumbledore and I see where you are coming from for sure...

I do think Michael Gambon has done a pretty good job though, but it is very sad that we lost Richard after only two of the films.

Yes you are right about Richard Harris and if Michael Gambon had played Dumbledore from the start, I would probably think he had done a good job. I think he has got better as the films have been produced....I felt he was very OTT in the POA :)

Yes i agree its so sad about Richard Harris bless him. I think Michael Gambon has done an amazing job considering who`s shoes he had to fill(so to speak) and it must have been very daunting for him at first.

Yes Richard Harris will always be Dumbledore to me...even reading the books I picture him rather then Dumbledore number 2. But as you say Sue, he was a hard act to follow :'(

Supposedly, more scenes are being added to the movie.  I'll bet that the real reason for the delay is that the movie wasn't up to snuff and got sent back to the director for more work.

I thought it was delayed because they wanted a summer hit.

I was thinking that the three number 2's on the jersey might be because they have more players on the team and they are the backups in case someting happens to Ron. Didn't he technically make the team in OOTP, even though it wasn't in the movie?

I also believe (my personal opinion, not a fact) that they delayed HBP because of Twilight.

Actually, all the orginal movie posters of Twilight had a December release date. I believe Twilight was moved up once HP was pushed back.

Twilight was supposed to be released on December 12, but was moved up after WB announced that HPB would be delayed until July 2009.

Yep.  Inkworks probably didn't have time to complete negotiations for the autos.  I wish they had been able to obtain some props to go with the costumes.  A while back, it looked as if they wouldn't have the costumes, either, so at least they were able to produce some premium inserts.  It'll be interesting to see how well they sell.  A GOF Cedric Diggory auto sold on November 16 for $127.51, so we could see a spike in prices for that character's HP auto and costumes.

Only three months?  That seems like such a long way away!  After watching the trailer, it looks like the Room of Requirements has good potential for prop cards. :)  I also realized that I really need to reread the book before going to movie.
