So if I am correct, I was shorted a prop, and got double props, costumes, and autos from a single sealed case. I think I am going to give up on Potter. It just isn't fair to have four straight case purchases not have the stated number of cards. I don't even want to tell Artbox about it, they prob think I am lying to them to get free cards.

Hi Bryan, Do not feel bad I bought 2 cases and both are almost exactly like yours.I will post my case breaks tomorrow. look for gryffindor forever.I am going to call artbox because now I know that i am not the only one. I did not get shorted any props just double bed sheets.

Summary: Expected # of autographs, no Ultra Rares but all three Rares and two 'Regulars'. Expected number of costumes; one was a duplicate number but a different color swatch. Expected number of props, but nothing numbered to less than 260. Five complete puzzle sets, two complete box-topper sets. The CT2 case-topper.

For base sets, my case provided enough cards to make 22 complete sets with 1 card left over, if collation were perfect. At one level collation was good, because I was only 3 cards short of a 22nd set and 1 card short of a 21st set. But I was also the same 1 card short of my 19th, 18th, 17th, 16th, and 15th set. Four of the five boxes that held autographs were missing a specific card and had extras of another specific card, which means the packagers made a consistent mistake with the cards they had stacked up to fill packs that didn't have an auto in them -- in boxes that were selected to have one somewhere. It's not quite as bad as what I found for the first 3-D set, but it will take nearly forever to trade for heaping handfuls of the same card to fill in the near-sets.

Jeff, does the Pettigrew auto state it's from Chamber of Secrets?  The character appeared only in the pensieve scene in OOTP.

Indeed it says OOTP.  (Of course, I wouldn't be surprised to see a mistake. After all, how could any movie-goer identify Aberforth Dumbledore, without reading Book 7? And I still wonder how Dennis Creevey morphed into "Nigel" midway through movie production.)

Nice pull!  I' ve opened cases for every Artbox Harry Potter release, and haven't pulled a single Harry, Hermione, or Ron. I think Lucius Malfoy hexed me.  :'(

I have corrected the Case 2 and Case 3 breakdowns. I forgot to include some PROP cards.
The corrections are marked "-----------ADDED, FORGOT IT."

So I'm two-for-two now in cluster predictions for missing items. (Well, three-for-three if you include my prediction of what was in the rest of my case after opening only four boxes.) That still bothers me. After a total of _one_ case breakdown had been posted, I had a strong hint of what to expect when I was less than halfway through my boxes.

Thomas, we're back on track with matching cases. That's three out of the last five.  ::)

My box (C2 Gryffindor costume x/560 and P10 hospital sheets x/560) not only has cards with the same print run, but is one of 12 boxes in this thread with the exact same break.  There aren't that many cases listed here for this break to be so common.

I really hate these case clusters. In a way, it takes a lot of the fun and excitement out of it.

Thanks, but honestly i'm a bit more disappointed than happy, again i had nothing special inside. This was my 18th Potter case i've bought when counting all the sets the last years and i never had one of the big Autos, no Harry, Ron, Hermione, nothing. And no extraordinary variant, some very few nice ones over the years, but not more. I'm not good in pulling good cards.  :'(


Oh, wow, so again. Crazy and funny. They should stop sending us the same cases or just continue with some cases with great inserts. ;)

All in all not great, some of the boxes are very poor value for money  >:(). Let's hope my other case arrives soon and is better  :o=

I finished collating the base cards for the 5 cases that I opened.
The result was 111 complete sets. I found that cards numbered
6, 7, 8, 15, 24, 27, 34, 42, 56, 61, 63, and 70 were the most "rare".
If these had been evenly included there would have been 112 sets.
All in all, the boxes were around 2.2 sets each, pretty good.
I imagine that there exist some strange ones though.

Not great overall and the very poor first box was only redeemed by the fact that i got a Quaffle and Bludgers prop card in the second which i am pleased with.
My piece of prop is from a Bludger and appears to have a line going through the middle which could be part of the seam.
I hope to put up some pics later.
