: Redemption FAQ : Hikarist January 17, 2008, 08:45:53 AM Hey,
I've never had to send in redemptions before, so I have a few questions. 1. I think someone mentioned that if you want the auto sent back protected, you need to include the top loader/sleeve, but would you also suggest a self-addressed, postage paid padded envelope as well? Or just a letter with the extra postage included so they'll send it in one? 2. Can you send more than one redemption in an envelope (IE: If I had Moody and Lupin auto redemption cards, could I just send them in their protective sleeves, in one envelope to save myself postage)? Thank you. :) : Re: Redemption FAQ : mcgonagall January 17, 2008, 12:02:27 PM Hi,
I send not only a self addressed envelope but toploader and sleeve. My returns always come back that way. Yes you can send them together hope this info helped : Re: Redemption FAQ : PepperD January 17, 2008, 02:15:40 PM I sent off two a couple of months ago and assumed they would be sent back protected.
Naive? Yeppers.. but they sent them back by first class airmail, the cards were in the lil soft plastic sleeves stuck to a sheet and wrapped in several sheets of paper, folded flat into a long envelope. They arrived in perfect condition for 90c postage!! 8) But in retrospect I like the idea of hard protective sleeves and a self-addressed envelope. Good luck. : Re: Redemption FAQ : kbmum January 17, 2008, 07:19:10 PM If you don't want your cards shipped back to you in a regular business envelope with no protection, you should send Artbox the proper packing supplies (including the bubble envelope). I don't think it's right that we have to do this. After all, Artbox sold us product with redemptions, so it should be its responsibility to protect the cards being redeemed. However, this is the reality and I'd rather spend a little extra money to make sure that my cards are treated properly.
You can definitely send more than one redemption in the same envelope. BUT -- If the actors return their autos to Artbox at different times, Artbox will ship them individually. This could mean that one auto would be shipped in your bubble mailer, but the second one would be shipped in their regular business envelope. I would suggest waiting until you know the autos you want are available before you send the redemptions to Artbox. If you want the package to be insured or have delivery confirmation, you should contact Artbox before mailing the redemptions. The email address is customerservice@Artboxent.com. : Re: Redemption FAQ : mcgonagall January 17, 2008, 07:40:18 PM if they ever answer that is still waiting for a delay to my email
: Re: Redemption FAQ : kbmum January 17, 2008, 08:57:13 PM If you don't hear from them within a week of sending the email, you should send it again. Persistence pays off, usually.
: Re: Redemption FAQ : Hikarist January 17, 2008, 09:48:44 PM Thank you everyone! :D
: Re: Redemption FAQ : kbmum January 26, 2008, 02:52:44 AM Per email today from Artbox, all of the autos except Mad-Eye and Mrs. Figg are in. :)
: Re: Redemption FAQ : terryweasley January 26, 2008, 03:28:50 AM Terrific I need a Mad-eye Moody card. I always send my redemption cards in a top loader case. They have always returned my cards in the cases I send them in. I've also never had any trouble with First Class mail either. Art Box does send the cards in a regular legal size envelope, so if you want a padded envelope then you'd better include it with your redemption cards. They are also very good about letting you know if certain cards aren't currently available.
: Re: Redemption FAQ : Hikarist January 26, 2008, 09:28:59 AM If the card isn't available when you send in the redemption, do they just wait until they have the autos in stock?
: Re: Redemption FAQ : kbmum January 26, 2008, 09:43:11 AM Yes. You get added to a list and the card is mailed out when they receive the autos from the actor.
