: eBay selling question
: kbmum August 28, 2007, 05:52:58 AM
Does anyone know how to list an item that can be purchased by only one particular buyer?  I can't remember what this is called or how to do it.  :-\

I normally put the title as "Personal auction for ebay name", then in the details just state that you and the buyer have agreed on a set price for the particular item, and therefore request that no one else use the BIN.... that usually works for me.

I've used something called "pre approve bidder" before - it's on the same help page as "block bidder"  I limited my auction to one bidder which really helped before they got the counteroffer option on "Best Offer" working correctly.

Thanks, ladies! :D  I was looking for pre-approved bidder.  I kept trying to search for it on eBay, but I thought it was pre-qualified bidder and I just couldn't find what I wanted.
