: The (still) Illegal chocolate trade - Part 2 : ferdinand_the_yak August 17, 2007, 11:31:34 AM Is anyone interested in doing this again? I thought it went rather well last time, so I was wondering whether we could try for another round
Here's a link to the old thread for those of you who want to get an idea of what we did. Basically we played swapsies with different lollies/candy from our respective countries http://www.theyakshack.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,5094.0.html Post here if you are interested :) : Re: The (still) Illegal chocolate trade - Part 2 : Trey August 17, 2007, 11:46:59 AM No thanks...I never got mine last time and I dont think my partner got theirs either (after costing me a small fortune to send)...bloody postal so-and-so's ive had enough!! >:()
: Re: The (still) Illegal chocolate trade - Part 2 : Jon August 17, 2007, 11:47:25 AM Sounds fun. Im definitely interested.
: Re: The (still) Illegal chocolate trade - Part 2 : ferdinand_the_yak August 17, 2007, 12:07:54 PM Sorry to hear your trade didn't work out Trey :(
I might send my stuff in a padded bag this time as the box I used last time cost a small fortune to ship. : Re: The (still) Illegal chocolate trade - Part 2 : blackcat20 August 17, 2007, 02:25:22 PM I sent mine in an envelope from memory...and it still cost a heap. might have gone a bit overboard though....
when do we have to decide by? : Re: The (still) Illegal chocolate trade - Part 2 : ferdinand_the_yak August 17, 2007, 03:30:20 PM No rush... we can decide if we go ahead depending on the amount of interest.
Otherwise I'll send you some Tim Tams if you like Kate ;) : Re: The (still) Illegal chocolate trade - Part 2 : ztaylork August 17, 2007, 07:06:42 PM Did someone say Tim Tams?!?!!? Dang those were yummy!!! ;D

: Re: The (still) Illegal chocolate trade - Part 2 : Roz August 18, 2007, 01:16:12 AM Yeah the postage was really expensive - you could always consider surface mail as long as you don't send anything with a short shelf life?
: Re: The (still) Illegal chocolate trade - Part 2 : grecopa August 18, 2007, 01:30:25 AM Sure, I'll do it again. :)
: Re: The (still) Illegal chocolate trade - Part 2 : bush360 August 18, 2007, 03:46:54 AM I would do it again only shipping was so expensive i flew to america to post mine to my partner
Seriously I did, well ok I was on Holiday in that part of the world at the time and made the decision after getting a quote from my post office. Rich : Re: The (still) Illegal chocolate trade - Part 2 : mcgonagall August 18, 2007, 12:14:04 PM Aussie guys i found a cheap way to send chocolate to over seas without it costing a fortune in postage. There is a company that ships from australia to world wide all over chocolates and sweets and the postage is really cheap to if you want to use.
