Well... more guidelines.... Parlais?

The old forum will be deleted quite soon, it's just remaining for archiving purposes at the moment.

OK, the old Diagon Alley became a complete minefield, it was very hard to find a single individuals thread, and lots of forum members (including myself) had more than one thread in there, so this time, I think we need some guidelines to make this place more efficient and easier to use.

1) You may only have one thread in this new forum. If you have more than one thread in this forum we reserve the right to delete either or both of your posts.

You are most welcome to edit the first thread in your post in order to update it with the latest information.

2) Instead of linking to each of your auctions, please only include one link (if you have a shop, you may have two links, e.g. one to your current auctions and one to your shop).

3) All links now need to be "Yak Friendly". This means that when you post the link to your auction(s) you need to click through to the page showing one of your auctions - copy the auction number:

Now go to:

Now go to add your auction number to the end of this url

THIS INFORMATION IS OUT OF DATE - PLEASE SEE THE POST BELOW!
http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-1738318-5463217?loc=http%3A//cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D  (ADD ITEM NUMBER AT THE END HERE without a space or any punctuation)

If you have more than one auction, choose your rarest/poshest or favourite card and put that one

Right! Congratulations, you are ready to go!

Now post that link in the Diagon Alley Forum and if you have more than one auction up why not encourage forum members to check out your other auctions in the text?

If you are posting any eBay links elsewhere in the forum, it would be great if you could ensure to use a Yak Shack affiliates link. Anyone found using anyone else's affiliate link with be out of here faster than you can say Quidditch (it's very easy to tell... and this forum costs a LOT to keep running each month, so your co-operation is much appreciated).

Thanks everyone.

Roz

Hi folks, eBay's affiliate scheme has changed and so the way we'd like you to link to auctions has changed too. Sorry for the inconvenience!

There are more options now and in some ways it's better but in other ways less convenient. Let's just see how it goes...

For individual items
Link to eBay.com:

Link to eBay.co.uk:
http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5574755643&toolid=10001&campid=5336126919&customid=&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229508&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg&icep_item={Your auction ID - straight after, no spaces}

To link to your shop
Link to eBay.com:

Link to eBay.co.uk:

Thanks!
Mark
