What does everyone think of this set? Case Breakdowns?

I got my case yesterday and have opened 6 boxes already! Cards are really nice, base set collation is not too good.
After collating 3 boxes I didn't get 1 base set !?!  :(

Breakdowns to come soon!!

Howdy, I get 2 cases on Tuesday I think the set looks good on paper, shame about the base sets though I got 26 base from Spiderman so looks like I will be lucky to get 6 sets from a case. Looking forward to your breakdown.

Martyn - what cards are you missing from your base set? Just a reminder there is no checklist card in this product and the middle card of each 9 card sequence is un-numbered (so that for the 9 Dr. No cards, the Dr. No poster card is #5, etc). If you have any other questions, please feel free to email us at custrelations@scifihobby.com. Thanks!

Joanna I figured about the unumbered middle card! Took me a good 20 minutes to relise though.
I will drop you an e-mail when I have finished collating all my sets.

From my first 2 it looks like I have the right number of cards to make the set, but there are double of some cards!

I'm waiting a bit to see how some of the values will shake out. Bond "Very Limiteds" seem to still get a premium price, but if you double the number of autos and props and cut the print run of each in half, you fill up the same number of cases but there could turn out to be less of a premium on the scarcest from each series.

It's a great looking set, but I admit that base cards that are a series of puzzle backs is not my favorite approach. I like loads of text, and spending a couple more hours "absorbing" the series after I finish opening packs.  ;)
