Is anyone else watching?  I'm in total denial about last nights episode.  So I think Starbucks really dead, but I also think she'll be back in some way in season 4.  She's had this so called "destiny" for a while, and I don't think her destiny was to kill herself.  There's something more to it.  I saw a good theory on a BSG blog.  I'll find the link and post it.
Here's the link.  It's by Grant Gould.  Some of you might know him as an artist from some LOTR sketch sets and others.  I never watched the original series, but I think his theory is a good one.  Let's hope so.  :o=  This is nearly as bad as when Dumbledore died.  :'(

Wow, that's a fascinating theory.  I'll bet that if the show's producers read Grant's post, they'll be banging their heads against a well because someone figured out the story line so quickly!

Thanks for posting, Cindy!  Do you watch the show?  I'm so totally upset, which is really weird cause I'm not like that with television shows.  I think I'll have to clean the garage today and take my mind off it.  Or maybe I'll just watch the episode again!   :rofl:  As you can see I have a new avatar.  Not that I think the episode itself sucked, it was actually REALLY GOOD!  Just the "Starbuck dies in a blaze of fireworks" part was a bummer.  But the Starbuck/Leoben sex while rolling in paint was hot!  >:D

I do watch it. :)  I think you should put off cleaning the garage and watch the episode again. ;)

I've been reading BSG blogs all day.  Is no one else excited to know that STARBUCK LIVES!!!!??  Whether for real or just in Apollo's head, WHO CARES??  My avatar is the way I feel...  HA!  I knew it!  SO THERE!!  >:D  Now about a year until the new season.  :'(

Tell me whats happend to Starbuck!! Argh I hate Virgin Media LOL since they took over the cable channel NTL we no longer have Sky so I dont get my fix of Battlestar no more  >:() hope to fix that though once we come to the end of our contract period LOL

Just for information De Orc, Virgin were doing a special get out quick on their contracts for people who wanted to switch to Sky - rather nice of them I thought since it seems to be Sky who are playing silly beggars.

Well, you know how Leoben and her mother kept telling Kara she had a "special destiny"?  She ended up dying a couple of shows ago by following a phantom raider into a clound and slamming into the atmosphere of a planet, blowing herself up.  She had been having halucinations and dreams all before that and she went to her death willingly and believing that there was something more she would be accomplishing by dying.  It's hard to explain it all.
So in the last episode of this year, the fleet jumps to another of the roadsigns that will lead them to earth and they encounter cylon base ships.  They scramble the vipers and Lee starts chasing a blip he sees on his viper dradis.  Then while he's looking for what he thinks is a raider, Starbuck flies up beside him and tells him that it really is her, she's alive, she's been to earth, and she's going to show everyone the way.  :o
PLUS, we found out who 4 of the final 5 cylons are, and I think #5 might be Starbuck herself.
Lots of other stuff happend in between.  ;)

Wow must get the box set as soon as it comes out LOL  Thanks for that info on Virgin 1st I had heard of it, will have to check it out.

Yeah, too bad.  On one hand I wish it would go on forever, but on the other hand, I'm glad it's going out with a bang before it gets boring.  The 2 hour episode in November is GREAT news!  I'm so glad they're doing that instead of making us wait until 2008.  And of course theres' always the DVD's.  So just like Firefly, I can watch BSG whenever I want, over and over and over...  :rofl:

I thought I would revive this thread and show my completed season 1 gun that I just finished.  It's made of resin buffed down to a shine, airbrushed with gunmetal grey and buffed some more for worn areas.  The grip came as is thank goodness.

Thanks!  Yeah, I'm taking it to Dragon Con.  It's a lot wider than all the other BSG guns out there, so I had to modify my holster to fit it.  I'll post pictures when I get back.

I have a prediction for season 4.  I predict that Starbuck is a hybrid cylon and either Leoben or Colonel Tigh is her daddy.  How sick would that be?  You heard it here first.
