Maybe just a bit of a goofup by the printer. Have you taken it out of it's case? If you do just feel it, the cardstock should be pretty thick, not flimsy or anything like computer paper. The auto looks 100% like hers...also, if you hold the card at an angle, you should see a gloss on the card.
: Re: Emma Watson POA Auto Card : timmy_russell February 25, 2007, 01:36:47 AM there is a gloss and the cardboard is like some other emma autos, but this makes me a lil unshore. i have about 4 or 5 of this card and this is the only one with the printing like this. i agree the signature looks perfect, but anyone can copy it? have you heard of any fakes in this set?

What's the printing like on the reverse of the card? Does it match the others you have? Bryan's right, if the printers printed these cards off in batches then there's every chance of variations in the printing ink. It might be worth looking at all of the POA autos you have side by side, as I think you'll notice that there are differences in the printing which you wouldn't necessarily notice when you're viewing them one at a time. I have cards back from Artbox that look different to the same ones I already own, so don't be too disheartened. ;) I haven't heard of any fakes doing the rounds, but of course, if someone is determined enough then it's possible. :( Nice auto by the way!! The biggest thing I noticed is that some autograph cards would be a shade or two darker than others.

Possibly the card was one of the first printed. I don't know too much about the printing process, but I believe the press operators tweak the press as cards are going through to make sure everything is coming out right. They may have had too much magenta color, or it just streaked on the first few sheets. This card may have been on a sheet that got through the quality check unnoticed.
