Hello everyone, I am new here...hope this is the right place...  shucks, I know now what my kids feel like the first day of school... :) So I'm a sketch card artist, and adore doing them, and thought I'd show a few things...Hope I get to say hello to some of you!

That Gandalf is just perfect  ;D.  Jackie I have seen your Hans Solo somewhere before (not on here but I can't remember where  :-\).  I do remember thinking how amazing it was at the time.  I think you may have to give Ingrid a clearer indication of who you may want sketched though  ;)

You know me so well Jules!!!   :)  Yes that is the latest Aragorn I asked Ingrid to draw for me!  She did an outstanding job as you can see.  The image comes from an Oscar Ad for Best Supporting Actor for Viggo Mortensen in The Two Towers.  Here is the image I asked Ingrid to work from:

Considering how dark the pic is you gave her work from, she's done a superb job of the sketch IMHO. ;D

Yea the picture is dark because the Battle at Helm's Deep was fought at night and the only light was cast from burning torch's as you can see in the photo.   8)  Ingrid really did a great job and I am so pleased.   :)   8)

I wanted to be the first to congratulate Ingrid on being selected as one of the Artist's for Topps Star Wars 30th Anniversary set!  I think her work is going to be awesome on this set!   8)   Best of luck and congrats on your first official set!!   :)

Thanks Len and Jackie!   :)   I am so pleased and happy with Ingrid's work.  She is going to be working on another Aragorn for me of him fighting at Helm's Deep and either she or I will post it here once it is completed.   :)  Just when I think I cannot be awed any more I am by her attention to detail and right on likeness to Viggo Mortensen.  I can't ask for more than that!   8)

Great job on The Eye of Sauron and thanks for selling it to me!   :)  That is such a great looking drawing I cannot understand why the person who commissioned you did not like it?   ???   It is an outstanding addition to my collection and the first of many more location Lord of the Rings sites I am going to ask you to draw for me!   :)   8)

Many thanks, Ed! :) The commissioner did like it, but had wanted a character sketch with some background - I had misunderstood a scene only. It was my mistake... but it was a fun card to do anyway! For a change of pace I asked Ingrid to draw my cat "Arwen" from a picture I provided to her.  She came out just great!   :)  As we adopted Arwen when she was 4 and that was 4 years ago, we never saw what she looked like as a kitten so I asked Ingrid to draw her as a kitten.  When she finishes that one I will post it here as well.   :)

Thanks Jo!   :)  The last of the 4 cards Ingrid is drawing for me is a redraw of her avatar of PussnBoots with those wonderful sad eyes from Shrek 2!  I just loved that drawing of hers and asked her to do one for me!   :)

Should be done today Ed! That'll be a nice little Kitty Kollection you will have!  :D I adore animals so it's tons of fun to do too!

Ingrid has created some beautiful Aragorn artwork for me in the past but the first of the 3 new ones she is drawing for me is beyond words!   :o  I just love the colors she used!   :)  The second one is just as breath taking showing Aragorn about to engage the Uruk-hai on top of Amon-Hen to give Frodo time to escape!  WOW!   :)   8)

Thank you Nienna and Ferdinand_the_yak! I don't really know the release date, I think it's coming out sometime in January...

Supposedly, the release date is January 23.  But, Topps also has the Heroes set scheduled for the same day. ::)  It's possible, but unlikely, that both will go out at the same time.  Heroes has been delayed since September (talk about a sketch card nightmare for that set :o ), so my guess is that one will come out on the 23rd and LOTR will be delayed a bit.
