mine is the snape,i'm not a great fan of snape but you have to like him for his enterances alone

not liking snape is understandable

How can I go past Umbridge....

Lucius and Voldemort are plain evil. But Rita Skeeter and Umbridge are so much easier to hate for some reason (for me anyway). Maybe cos they are apparently meant to be on the good side but are evil?

Ach c'mon guys.

I don't yet believe Malfoy is totally evil, so far he's been a stupid Bully, but with his parents I can't see him improving (but as yet I'd find it hard to call him evil!)

Call me twisted, but I kinda like Malfoy - he's quite the evil nemesis. Or maybe that Tom Felton does such a great job of him in the movies, that its hard to hate him...

I would like to think he has some decency in him... but is that too much to hope for?

I don't think I'll go as far as Lucius and Voldemort but Draco is not as bad as the other 2.

Wouldn't it be cool if he did a Sirius and divorced his family to join the good side? Would be kind of hard for him to stay in Slytherin then though - can you imagine the flak that he would get?

i really can't see malfoy doing anything at all good . He seems to be so chidish and rude and a big bully

Oh come on now!........... Umbridge has to be the most evil character since books was invented.  

I almost didn't finish OoP because of her.  Even when I reread the books there are bits of her I skip.:P

Can you imagine doing lines which are carved into your flesh? Or being taught by a toad with a giant fly on her head who gives you a life Quiddich ban when you are the youngest ever Seeker?

Snape looks a positive saint by comparison - after all, you can at least find a reason for his behaviour. :-\

Yep! I think I'd rather see Voldemort in charge of Hogwarts than Umbridge!!!!!
