Not sure if anyone has mentioned or if there is a thread somewhere else. I won an Gold 8 Coin Card Set on Ebay which I received yesterday. When I opened the box and looked at the cards they were clearly the bronze coins, but the back of the card clearly states they are "Gold" embossed cards ???. Has anyone else gotten any of the sets in which the back of the card states they are one (silver,gold or bronze) coin but the swatch contains and entirely different type of embossed coin. All the coins are bronze and all the backs state they are gold.

I notice that two of the cards seem to have the coins switched possibly. The two card are from the prisoner of Azkaban. The card that has harry casting the patronis charm has a coin with hermione, Ron, and harry. The card that has Hermione, Ron, and Harry by the shrieking shack has the coin of harry casting the patronis. That doesn't seem right. :-\

Am I wrong in assuming the coins should be really be switched? All the other cards the coins seem to match the face of the card.

I would take a good look at your coin sets if you have them and see if your sets are different or if the coins seem to be in the wrong card.

Not really sure what to think --- maybe I have another unique error :o=

Would be interested in hearing anyone elses take on them.

I have a set of the silver coins (my bronze are on their way  ::) so I can't check that one yet) and the back states "contains one embedded Gold Standard Coin".  ::)
And I have the same as you...the Harry, Ron and Hermione card has the "casting patronus" coin in it and the Harry Patronus card has the Harry, Ron and Hermione coin.

I have a set of the 8 large bronze, silver and gold coins and the back of all the cards says "contains one embedded Gold Standard Coin". I also checked the set of 2 small gold and 2 silver coin cards and the back of those also say gold. Perhaps Artbox were just being lazy in not having different cards printed for each of the different sets of coins. Or it may be referring to the standard of the coins (gold being best) rather than the colour of the sets.

"Gold Standard" is the name of the coins.  It doesn't mean that the coins have a gold overlay. :)
