: Re: Number of POAU cases??? : Roz January 29, 2007, 08:38:50 AM Maybe my brain's befuddled, it's pretty late here ;)
: Re: Number of POAU cases??? : The Razzer January 30, 2007, 01:56:56 AM if they had 172 whomping willow cards and each one was given with 25 cases thats 4,300 cases!! :o
43,000 boxes, no wonder they only inserted 2 autos a case. i suppose i should of done the sums in the first place and answered my own question. :-[ but saying that, with 30 PTL thats 750 cases for POA when there was only 500. so i think a round 4,000 cases of POAU sounds about right. : Re: Number of POAU cases??? : Tower January 30, 2007, 04:22:36 AM You've said it to yourself, you can't calculate that way. For example, MM had 50 of the 25 case incentive (would mean 1250 cases), but there were only 375. They always produce much more case incentives.
We never heard a confirmed number of POAU cases. I remember a number a bit less than Roz does. I thought, it was anywhere between 2200 and 2500. : Re: Number of POAU cases??? : allender February 01, 2007, 07:10:22 AM We never heard a confirmed number of POAU cases. I remember a number a bit less I agree with both of you, using this math:than Roz does. I thought, it was anywhere between 2200 and 2500. Usually the total number of props or costumes or cels is 10-30% above the number you would expect if every one were put in packs, where they plan for more to cover damaged cards and replacements. The sum of numbers of Hobby props is 7680, at 3:case = 2560 / 1.20 = 2133 cases Total number of cels is 8100, at 3:case = 2700 / 1.20 = 2250 cases Total number of Hobby costumes is 19,191, at 6:case = 3198 / 1.20 = 2665 cases This hints that the "overage" was bigger for costumes, and there couldn't have been more than 2560 Hobby cases if each one had 3 props. Probably the total was somewhere in the 2250-2400 range. The 3 case toppers were reported somewhere as 900 each, and that would fit the same overages as the cels. But don't forget there were Retail cases too, with one costume per box. I don't have notes saying how many boxes per case, but assuming 10: Costume total = 5378 at 10:case = 538 / 1.20 = 448 Retail cases So for Hobby and Retail combined, we're talking in the neighbourhood of 2700-2850 cases. |
