: Instant bank transfer : potter November 28, 2006, 12:13:05 AM Hi, If you buy anything on ebay, and pay for it by paypal, then you choose to by by instant bank transfer, what would happen if you didn't have enough money in your bank account to pay for it, would you just get a nagative paypal balance??? Please let me know!

Thanks for letting me know, I have always wondered what would happen, just been reading it up on the help pages on paypals website saying that the money get credited to the seller straight away and will take 7-9 days for it to go out the bank account.If not then I don't think the payment goes through. : Re: Instant bank transfer : Roz November 29, 2006, 01:38:07 AM I think in the case you are describing the seller is sent a message saying that the buyer is sending payment but that it has not cleared yet. They are not given access to the money until it is cleared, and are advised not to send the item until they have had a clearance notification.
