Awesome little collection. And Vecchia did enough to be great value too. I have some nice Evo sketches by CDV, but I think that the Masterpieces ones are better ;D

Thanks! :)  I think both artists did some really good sketches for Masterpieces and seem to have more "good guy" characters available than for Evo.

Tom had this one as a BIN earlier tonight.  I hit the button as fast as my little fingers would go!  I payed a little more than I normally pay for a pencil sketch, but he's just so darn CUTE I couldn't help myself.  I think he would have gone for more if it had been a normal auction.

That's really cute!  I'm trying to get a Katie Cook sketch, too.  I thought I had an Aragorn one a couple of days ago, but the seller accidentally relisted a card he had already sold. :-\

That's an excellent Legolas sketch!  I really love Sean Pence's work.  His character likenesses are so right on the money!  ;D

My Dalla Vecchia-palooza continues. :)  I picked up this one a few weeks ago.  I really love this sketch.  I've been trying to complete a Fellowship sketch set between my Evolution and Masterpieces cards, and had a good Frodo by Goodmanson.  Unfortunately, when I lifted the lid of my scanner after scanning it, the card flew off the scanner and disappeared!  I'm not kidding.  The card is gone.  I've torn apart the office, pulled the baseboard heater away from the wall (if my husband knew, I'd be in sooooooo much trouble), even taken apart the cabinet/printer table, but the card is nowhere to be found.  Anna told me it must be with the Ring!  I'm really upset about it, but at least I'm happy with its replacement.

Those cards like to stick to the cover of my scanner!

Any luck finding your missing sketch card?  That is strange happenings to have a card disappear!  Nice growing collection of sketch cards you have there!   :)

No, no luck at all. :'(  I honestly can't figure out where it could be, and I've spent hours looking.  I pulled up the rugs and throw rugs, moved furniture, crawled under and around the desk, to no avail.  If it weren't for the scan I made just before losing the card, I don't think I'd believe I ever had it.  I'm just grateful that it wasn't an expensive card.  Someday, years from now, I'll probably find it when we move from the house.

When scanning my card especially these Masterpieces Sketches they kind of got caught in a vacumn on the lid of the scanner and then slid away from me throught the gap between the scanner and the scanner lid the one time it happened I found a sketch caught between 2 wires almost like a paperclip might be an idea to pull your computer out and check the wires.

Thanks for the tip. :)  I checked around and under the scanner, plus all of the wires.  Nada. :(  I just can't imagine where it could be.

Could it have slipped in some gap in the scanner? I have no idea what your scanner is like, but maybe another possibility?

The lid lifts up and is hinged in the back.  I've gently shaken it and looked at it from all angles, but there is no place where the card could be stuck.  I also checked all of the sketches that were on the scanner at the same time, in case it stuck to the back of one of them.  Are there any psychics on the forum who could help me out? ;)

Cindy, I think I've inherited some of your bad luck.  I decided to do another small frame for HP Chamber of Secrets, but now I can't find my Riddle Diary!  It's so frustrating!  I know it has to be here somewhere, but I can't find it for the life of me!  >:()  Did you ever find your Frodo sketch?

Thanks!  I needed a good Legolas sketch to complete my Fellowship set.  It goes well with my favorite sketch from the Evolution set, a Hodges Aragorn. :)
