Here's Some pics I took of Dominic at the Comic Con. He was signing Posters for his New show "Lost" coming this Fall. It Looks really good I got to go to the panel and watch the pilot episode!!!!

Wow - great photos - thanks for posting them here for us to enjoy!   :)  I have seen the ads for "Lost" coming this Fall to ABC TV.  Can you give us a rundown what the series is about?  I know an airliner crashes on an island and Dom and others are survivors but that is about it.  Thanks.   :)

The survivors of a plane crash are forced to live with each other on a remote island, a dangerous new world that poses unique threats of its own.
You really only get from the pilot episode that there's a plane crash and that the tracking box from the plane is 1000 miles away....so know one knows where they are. Also there is something on the Island (We don't know what yet, But its not a Dinosaur) that they are getting chased by and also ate the Pilot from the plane.(we only see a black shadow)Other than that it just basically established characters...and we know Dom's character "Charlie" has a drug problem  :o
Looks like its gonna be a great show....Also at the Inkworks booth they were handing out Promo cards for Lost...maybe a New Trading Card set????

lol, also Matthew Fox's character's name is Jack, I think that was the name of one of the characters in LOTF!!!!

Thanks for the story line and I too welcome you to the Forum.  Inkworks handing out "Lost" Promo cards - sounds like a card series to me.   :)

Who is the girl standing next to Dom in your pictures?  Is she in "Lost" as well and what's with the tie around her neck?

Her name is  Evangeline Lilly, I don't think shes done much else, I talked to her shes very nice and from Abbotsford British Columbia. Shes the main lead actress on the show.

Please can you recall for us all you heard about the HP update set and Trilogy set :) we aren't doing badly for info here but we drink it all in so the more the merrier  ;D

But the only way to find out will be to wait tiol your cases arrive. I remember with the PoA original set we had to wait til people OPENED cases to find out what was in them  :o

With Trilogy I believe the autos confirmed so far are Bernard Hill/Theoden, Liv Tyler/ Arwen (as if you didn't know :P) and (from the pic on the sell sheet) Sala Baker as Sauron (but remember everyone, we saw a TT Gandalf pic on THAT sell sheet - so no holding breath please :)

Is the some form of torture you guys use in the UK? ;D

lol i meant there was no insert list when the set came out :P we opened cases to make the list  ;D

I know we opened up 10 cases and I have to say it was the Funnest product i've ever opened. We had a case with no prop cards in it at all and then another case had like 15 in it, weird. Hopefully the Update set will be distributed a little more evenly, Mike at Artbox is now aware of the problem  ;D

hmmm but the haphazrd nature made it possible to get 3 inserts in one box ... i did like that sort of thing  ;D

Yeah I guess it is kinda nice to not know that your guaranteed to get 1 costume, prop or auto, but instead it could be all 3 or if your really unlucky none >:(
I do like how the inserts are numbered gives a little more rarity to the cards.

Thank you for the info about "Lost".  Are you attending any of the other Conventions coming up this summer Crystyles?

Unfortunately No ::) So expensive. San Diego was the only one, I just wish there were conventions to go to in Canada then I would attend them all  ;)

You are on the West coast of Canada.  I can see why you made the trip to San Diego for the Comic Con.  You live in a very beautiful part of Canada as I have flown over British Columbia a good number of times!   :)

Will do.  I am excited as tomorrow my wife and I have tickets to the LOTR's Exhibition in Boston.  This is the only city in North America to host this show and it is at the Museum of Science.  It started on August 1st and runs until October 24th.  This Exhibition was held in Toronto for the first two LOTR's movies and I don't understand why it went to Boston instead of Toronto.  Boston is an easier drive for me but Toronto was also within driving range.  Mark & Roz attended this Exhibition in London when it was there and they both said it was outstanding so we are really looking forward to it.  This is the only LOTR's show I am aware of at the moment in the area here.

Sounds like your gonna have a Blast, i'm extremely jealous ;D

Yep - a very detailed report is expected :)

The only thing they let us take pics of was the entrance ways - with the Argonaths - but I hope you get more! And we want pics of you as a Wizard and then as a Hobbit

Thanks.  I will report back on what I saw.  I am taking my digital camera and will take photos of the outside as I know they do not allow cameras inside the Exhibition.  Roz if it is ok with you I will send the photos to your gmail account and then you can post them here for all to see.  Thanks.

Its coming to Sydney next... this December-January I believe. I am so excited - its being held in the Powerhouse museum which is only 10 minutes walk from where I work. Definitely on my calender this Xmas!

Ed, tell us the highlights of it for you and I wil make sure I keep them in mind for a few months time! :)

I am going to start a new Topic in this area for The Trilogy Exhibition in Boston and give highlights of what I saw.  I sent my pictures to Roz today and hopefully she can post them to the area after I start it up!  :)
