Only a few people can hear it, and they cannot work out what the noise is coming from. Some scientists have made a simulation of the sound, and Im curious to see who can hear it, and who cant...

Does age have anything to do with those who can hear it or can? I would try but I'm not alone and if my mum hears it she'll moan. : Re: Can you hear the hum? : blackcat20 October 27, 2006, 04:42:14 AM From the article I read, there are quite a few old people that can hear this hum...but i do know what you are talking about re the noises keeping young people away. the funny thing is, in Aus, young people are now using that noise as their mobile phone ringtone cos they can hear their phone ring etc in class, but their teachers cant :P
