Probably no??? I think so too - it would be cool though if it was real and he DID write Legolas before he really thought of himself as famous  :)

It looks ok... when OB came to Sydney I was not there at the time (boo! :'() but it was likely that he may have signed a few things pre-LOTR mega-fame. Also, if it was a fake, I don't see why they would have picked that particular card. Signed base cards are usually with the character ones...

It looks consistent with my Leggy autos, the style and pattern of the auto. I wish it was definitely authentic. I definitely would bid on it. Maybe I will, if it does not go too high... the price is nowhere near certain other sellers' signed base cards at $50-70US and looks alot better. I guess you have to take these signed cards with caution - who better to know than us certified autograph veterans ;), but at that price, I guess it does not really matter (for me anyway). I see you are bidding on the damaged Aragorn FOTR ;) Good luck! I'll bid on it as well to see if I can help you out as I see you've been outbid now - it'll be a nice display piece I guess :) If you don't want it, I'll find some use for it!

The Leggy was up for sale before for $99, but no-one bid!

Got them both - nice addition to my burgeoning LOTR collection. Walls are getting uncomfortably crowded ;D

Well, it's still a piece of paper signed by Viggo - and I think to me it's worth a darn site more than a topps card signed in Viggo's style by Omniversal trader or other "bad boys" - I was thinking I could have it on my desk and not worry about it fading, but well done FTY, you should enjoy it

I was not sure whether you were grasping your coffee mug and willing yourself to wake up so I waited to see whether you would bid at the last minute... so I left it to the last minute anyway. At least it is going to a good home - I was planning to display it on my desk as well - and have my mint Viggo safely stored away :)

well I received the cards today - the Aragorn card does not look too bad, its obvious there is a rip of course, but not much more than a faint line. The rest of the card is perfect - corners, edges surface. I felt bad for the seller (who is really nice :)) who bought a PSA 8 card for quite a bit, accidentally ripped it and sold it for a substantial loss :-[

Comparing the rest of the card to my other FOTR Aragorn, I'd say mine could make PSA 9 - nicer auto, card in similar-better condition. So thats good :D

As for the (hopefully) signed by Orlando card - it looks cool on my wall 8)

Looking at it the way I have it now - its at an angle so that I can't even see the rip. Great display piece - I have been getting comments from my friends who have come over to visit 8)

Eh, you have no idea how appropriate that advice is - one of my former housemates who I was living with for 3 months this year is currently in prison! :o

Yeow FTY!!   :o   You have to be a little bit more careful choosing that manflesh (Uruk-Hai saying) housemate!!  ;)

Tell me about it - I did not choose my housemates this year, they were randomly allocated in my university apartment units. I thought that he was really nice (as were/are my other housemates) - no strange behaviour from him or anything suspicious at all. Guess you can't go by appearances...

*looks suspiciously at savage*

 ;D You know I'm kidding.... I hope :-\

Eye Ed suspiciously indeed - after Malfoy I trust no-one fair haired anymore :P

Although Ed has been sneaky over photographs but after squinting I think he's fair haired

Here's my two cents worth on this auto. I would be concerned with the tilt of the auto. Although auto's may vary in their appearance the tilt/angle usually does not vary. IMHO  ;D
