: Avengers (Steed and co) and Dr who Strictly Ink : Morningangel-Iola August 23, 2006, 04:30:50 AM Does any one have any of these cards or know anything about them. I have been having a bit of a nosey the boxes don't seem bad and tend to promise a couple of autos althoug would one be the man who painted the monster or something.
Although when are they going to do new series Dr who? : Re: Avengers (Steed and co) and Dr who Strickley Ink : Anna August 23, 2006, 09:54:34 PM I've been collecting the first two Definitive Avengers sets. I'm missing the A1 Honor Blackman auto for both sets. It figures that her autos would be the most expensive. :P Each box contained 3 autos and for the price I paid for the boxes, that wasn't too bad. :)
Have you checked out the Strictly Ink web site? It states that the Dr. Who Trilogy set is their final release for the Dr. Who series. :-\ http://www.strictlyink.com/06si/index.html : Re: Avengers (Steed and co) and Dr who Strickley Ink : Morningangel-Iola August 24, 2006, 03:19:52 AM Yes the way I read it, its the final of the orginal Dr who series.
Yes its the final realse of 'classic dr who' they tend to count the old and new different ;) : Re: Avengers (Steed and co) and Dr who Strickley Ink : Roz August 24, 2006, 03:31:47 PM It's just a case of any old excuse to charge more for two licenses instead of one I'll wager ::)
: Re: Avengers (Steed and co) and Dr who Strickley Ink : Morningangel-Iola August 24, 2006, 03:54:08 PM Well some (strange) people only like one. Although there was a quick hands up survey done when I went to the Dr who talk at the comic con and most people like both. Interesting of those who only liked one, it was the new series which was more popular (they were probably too young to remember the orginial ::) I feeel old).
Anyway here's hoping for new style who :o= and if he's finished with his brown suit ........ ;) : Re: Avengers (Steed and co) and Dr who Strickley Ink : Roz August 24, 2006, 04:02:02 PM ...it was the new series which was more popular (they were probably too young to remember the orginial ::) I feeel old). Awwwwww don't think like that - I get the impression you are around my age, and the older ones have passed me by entirely...some day I'll catch up ;D : Re: Avengers (Steed and co) and Dr who Strictly Ink : Morningangel-Iola August 24, 2006, 04:10:19 PM I'm a little older, I reach a certain round number come January :o
Although I think I started watching Dr who something rediculous like age four ::) : Re: Avengers (Steed and co) and Dr who Strictly Ink : De Orc August 28, 2006, 05:21:49 PM I have collections of both Avengers & Dr Who going back to the old Cornerstone Issues and have to say I have been very pleased with what we have picked up from strictly Ink. The quality of the cards and the box corralation have been great, my only quibble is they are somewhat slow in sending out the redemptions lOL
De Orc 8) : Re: Avengers (Steed and co) and Dr who Strictly Ink : Morningangel-Iola August 30, 2006, 03:35:54 AM I've been looking at the 40th anniversary addition set of Dr who, the autos look the most interesting. Are these boxes now hard to come by and are they as good as they sound?
