: futurama comics??????? : 5594mike August 06, 2006, 10:25:10 PM hello everyone ;D ;D
in quite new to the comic world/industry and i'm a massive futurama fan and i'm really interested in the bongo comics, BUUUUUUUUT?? can sombody set me straight about the two different sizes. before i star collecting them. is their a US and a UK edition???? sorry if this is a stupid question but on eBay theres are slim ones, (like normal comics) but the futurama comics at my local newsagent e.g. W H Smiths there are large squarish sized ones??? i don't know which ones best to collect??? please help :( : Re: futurama comics??????? : banditwolf August 17, 2006, 09:17:38 AM I am not familiar with these comics but could it be that the square one is a compiliation of the single issues? I know other comics I read are issued in single issue and later in a group.
: Re: futurama comics??????? : jfer21 August 23, 2006, 12:18:07 PM I believe he's right. I haven't seen the larger versions of the Futurama comics here, but I have seen ones for the Simpsons and they are reprints. I know I did see the larger versions of Futurama at Comic Con. I've just been collecting them as they come out at my local comic store (which is not often enough for me). The last new one in the states has several versions of Leela on the cover.
: Re: futurama comics??????? : 5594mike October 08, 2006, 04:47:52 AM hey peeps thank you for all you advise, :D over the summer i've been talking to ebay comic dealers and this is what i've gathered. theres a US import silm or normal comic size version (eg that one with all the different versions of leela) which is only on its 26 issue maybe 27 issue by now. and the larger squarish sized comics which are in its higher numbers (30's or 40's) is a UK edition aimed for kids with larger print and more basic in lay out. once again please correct me if im wrong, cool to see more futurama fans here ;D ;D : Re: futurama comics??????? : Roz October 08, 2006, 04:50:36 AM Ooh and Mike if you are a Futurama fan and a trading card fan - check out the autograph line-up from LOST revelations (especially A7)
