Am I the only one that seems to think this set is lacking? ???  Honestly, I don't recognize most of the signers, and I'm too lazy to head over to the IMDB just to find out they had a couple minutes of screen time.

Too much Inkworks, should have just stayed with the season sets.

But I must say the pieceworks cards look great  :D Love the style of the cards and the swatches are nice and bright too.

That's a pretty depressing autograph list other than Sun.

Margo - Jack's mother - can't remember seeing her at all
Nadia - woman Sayid loves - seen once in his flashback & once (for a moment) in Locke's
Susan - Michael's ex-fiance & Walt's mom - seen several times (was also in Serenity as River's teacher)
Helen - woman Locke loves - seen several times
Yemi - Eko's brother - seen once in his flashback & once in his vision
Mr. Friendly - one of the others - seen a few times for short periods
Scott - can't remember at all
Mr. Paik - can't remember at all

Pieceworks - kick ass!  Especially the dual ones!

Agreed, the pieceworks do look fanstastic.

Just read the breakdown and am pretty disapointed I have just downgraded my order from the 6 cases to just the 2 which I think should be plenty plus I will get our Incentive card.
Also what is with the dual standards from inkworks with the US getting the Jack and kate and everywhere else getting Sawyer and Kate. If anything us Europeans pay more for our cards and cases and we should be rewarded for our loyalty not given the 2nd best incentive  >:() . Rant Over.

I mean season 2 just finished a little while ago, there isn't long to go until they release this set... why bring out this??

Me personally I totally love Sawyers character loads more than Jack in the show maybe I am with the masses I just guess I get annoyed that europe is treated different to the US people. Plus from a collectors point of view it is another card to get, but the Sawyer version could be rarer with less cases comin to the UK and Europe. Hmmm interesting.

It is a bit odd Rup, I agree. The auto list feels a bit rushed.

I only speak from my personal point of view, but I've found Jack SO annoying in the second series (he's forgotten that respect needs to be earned. He spent the entirity of the first series resisting being 'leader' and without really grasping the role he's take to barking orders getting rather demanding.

Sawyer has just been Sawyer throughout the series. I'll leave this spoiler-free but he's beautifully unpredictable ;D so I'll look forward to finding a UK incentive ;D

I think that it was common knowledge that last time 1/3 of the print run came to the UK so perhaps the Sawyer card will be a little rarer :)

Well, I'll be attempting to get all the pieceworks + the two incentives.  I want the Sawyer/Kate more than the Jack/Kate, but I think the Jack/Kate will be easier to get....

How many cases do you have to get to get the incentives?

I have looked on the Inkworks website but can't find any info on them?

before I reduced my order today I confirmed the standing on the Incentives and I was told one incentive for every 2 cases ordered hence ordering my 2 casesinstead of the 6 originally intended.

And she was Leila in Futurama (or, more correctly - IS Leila in Futurama... as they have started "filming", ummm "animating" or whatever ;D)

There are a couple of good autograph cards in this series, but I'd just as well have had Inkworks wait until they put out season 2.  I don't like this "milking the cow until it's dry" business too much...

Inkworks did the Simpsons sets of course and family guy so whilst this doesn't gurantee them the license it certainly means that they know the right people to get to Futurama ;D so we can only hope :)

Sawyer is a better seller in the US than Jack was. So, I guess it's a matter of opinion as to which is second best.

The way Lost plays out on TV, I'm convinced that there is no such thing as a ropey auto in this set. The person you saw in episode 1 as a distant blur will, at some point be a large integral plotline  :rofl:

Just as an aside, I propose that anyone that says dealer incentives are a good thing should be made to do handstands in a sewer  >:D

Someone (dunno who) assumed the case incentives were 1 for every 2 cases.  According to Andy at Inkworks, that's incorrect.  It's one case incentive per every 3 cases.

You know what really stinks?
I am a costume collector. I have a complete costume and auto piecework set. No additional autographs or anything like that.

A) There is no Auto Piecework for this set, if you are getting an important cast member to sign...why can't she sign a couple piecework cards...I know there are no Sun pieceworks in this set...but hell I would take a Sun auto piecework from the first set.

B) The incentives are nothing more than pieceworks 1-3 combined onto a card. I was going to get the case incentives but then I noticed they were nothing more than combined piecework cards or pieceworks 1&2 and then 2&3.

It seems that the incentives are being re-organised. They won't be for the US and Europe any more, they're announcing the details of the change later today *shrugs*

I will be keeping my eyes peeled I had already reorganised my oreder to 3 cases so I get one, will be a bit annoyed if it changes to much.

Just read the Inkworks website looks like no incentives as the cards will be inserted into packs, it is refreshing that it seems they have listened to their collectors comments on incentive cards. I think I will still be keeping my 3 cases on order though anyways.

Where did you read that they'd be in the packs? I was just on Inkworks' site and it says this :
Retailers - please note that the distribution plan for these cards has been changed.  Both cards will be available worldwide.  Details will be emailed to Inkworks customers on Friday, July 7th.


That reads to me like there won't be a different card for US versus UK, not that they're going to be pack-inserted. Or am I totally confused?

I am probably wrong it was just how I read the information actually looking at it again now it looks different than when I posted earlier as I cant remember there being a specific reference to 3 cases needing to be ordered. Also it now says the cards will not be pack inserted. It definately did not sa that when I read it earlier or else I would not have suggested it. Confused need sleep now  :P

In some more solid news - check out the promo pack for this year -  I guess I'll have to ebay it to find this baby - hopefully not next year ;D

Hey thanks Roz I have totally forgot about this sets autos. Now I can see the faces to the characters it is a pretty good set I was wondering who mr friendly was that is a damn good auto. Not to mention Ekos brother and charlies bro both pretty important characters when you consider how they affect the main characters still not to keen on the scott auto although due to his minimal screen time yet constant references he may have some relevance later on.

Also, it's been so long now since the autos were announced I'd forgotten about a lot of them :rofl: I was pleased to see Mr Eko's Brother, Walts Mum and I was also interested to see that Scott/Dustin has numbered his cards as he's signed them.

When we start breaking we'll get some idea how rare Sun is in comparison to Scott/Dustin's 500 cards :)

As there is only 6 days left in August, has a released date hoved into view yet?  ???

Ha ha... just 6 days? Really :o well there was talk of it being in Britain for the end of the month...but I wonder if that was another pipedream :rofl:

They did so well with LOST season One maybe we should expect disaster this time :rofl:

I hope we dont have any more delayed sets it seems everyset gets delayed it must be the inthing with card companies. LOL
I think it is likely us UK peeps will be looking early september I have emailed cards inc today though just to see if they know more.

Well Lost 1.5 (as I shall refer to it ;D) has hit in force now... but no sign at all of the dual pieceworks which is what  am really hanging out for :(

so does this mean he signed 900 cards it looks like to me

so from the one 2 case break on card talk it ws 1 sun auto to 3 of his so maybe she only did 300 ??

He says on his website he had 960. I don't know if he signed all of those, and the word on the street is that Inkworks didn't insert that many into packs (estimates for this set run at a print run of something like 450-500 cases... apparently, believe what you will!), so don't panic there shouldn't be 900 out there... but who knows?

Yup got my 2 cases yesterday, opened 2 boxes late last night it is a really nice set very nice designs and stuff got a kate pieceworks and Claire then a Mr Friendly and Mr Paik auto. Will post breakdowns and scans later tonight.

Did anyone see Inkworks website?  Don't know if this was mentioned, but the Lost Season 2 set is due to release in November.

Thanks, Sara!  I didn't know it was coming so soon.  I've debated about getting the autos from the Revelations set and a Libby pieceworks, but I really wanted all my cards to have the same design as the first Lost set.  I think Sketchqueen mentioned that also.  I'll be waiting to see what's up for grabs in the season 2 set before deciding about the Revelations autos.  ;D
