Lik you should have seen my post officer's face when I said that I wanted some printed papers insured for £360. He really didn't believe me and I think he thought I must be involved in some postal scam or something! : Re: Quad autograph-costume for sale on eBay : Roz June 28, 2006, 06:58:05 PM Don't worry Philip, you aren't the only one; both Jules (Nienna) and I have reported funny looks from posties when sending expensive cards overseas and asking for insurance (usually redemptions etc)... it's well worth insuring things though, for peace of mind if nothing else :)

I sent my Ron redemption in with the Krum and Skeeter ones and I think I insured the packet for nigh on £300!! It was very funny to see the raised eyebrow when I said this amount, though I didn't get the third degree about whether I was sending anything iffy through the post! :P It's well worth doing for the peace of mind it gives though ... ;) : Re: Quad autograph-costume for sale on eBay : kbmum June 28, 2006, 11:22:13 PM What happens if a package is lost or damaged? In the US, you have to provide proof the item is worth the amount of insurance claimed. I suppose one could mock up an invoice to give the post office.
