Uh oh!

You remember when you first got all those HP cards and you had to get a 24 hour security company to guard your house from me?

Well you had best up security - Mark's a HUGE fan of stitch.

Congrats! It was a well overdue sketch pull

/12????

Makes that pear tree card seem like a pittance now (not saying I wouldn't love one of them, of course ;)) How much would that bring from ebay, if you don't mind me asking?

Well there are 12 artists each doing 12 cards so there are 144 sketch cards in all the last one of Jimney Cricket went for £755 on ebay and it was a great card

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=69793&item=6106245122&rd=1

so although mine is one of 12, each card is different yo
u can see them all here

http://www.upperdeckentertainment.com/disney/winniethepooh/gallery07.aspx

click on the cards to see all that each artist has done

I love the Jiminy Cricket one! These are gorgeous cards - it would be fantastic if they did it for LOTR as well.

How cool is it that Stitch is dressed up as Elvis?

Gimli I think you need to go buy a lotto ticket, that's unbelievable. We opened up close to 20 cases of this stuff and I ended up pulling one sketch out of the Bobble Head packs. Just think next it'll be the 1/1 Walt Disney sig  :o that's pretty close to winning the lottery

I would like a series one sketch but I don't think i would have much luck buying boxes at this late stage but it is tempting when you think about that lovely cut auto that doesn't seem to have been found but I don't think i will be lucky enough to ever win that lottery anyway

lol, I betcha it hasn't been inserted yet, their probably still making the stuff, I would love to know how many boxes were made for series 1 ???
Either that or some little kid has it and thier playing with it  :o

It would be cool to see it surface though.

did you pull anything good from the first series or did you just get the later sets and what sketch did you get in the bobble head pack if it's not too cheeky to ask

: Re:Disney Treasures Sketch
: Roz September 01, 2004, 12:34:27 AM
and please explain what a "bobble head" pack is -

Chris keeps on getting me interested in more and more card sets... thankfully this one is just a passing interest ... any more and I'll be down to base sets only on them all!!

The Disney Bobbles were 4 different mickeys Bobble Heads and included inside were 4 packs of cards. That's where I pulled the sketch from. Here's a pic Roz.

And here's where you can find all the sketches from series 1, very cool

I love that one  ;D

Very nice little collection you have there.

: Re:Disney Treasures Sketch
: gimli September 09, 2004, 12:43:31 AM
i was really hoping to find one from each set but lets be honest i don't think that was going to happen i have been really luck with the two i found so i thought why not this i sthe first sketch i have seen come up in a year of watching from series 1

: Re:Disney Treasures Sketch
: Crystyles September 09, 2004, 12:48:09 AM
Yeah  I been watching them too, but hadn't seen any on Ebay for a long time. Kinda died right down.
But it's always nice to treat yourself  ;D Congrats!!!!

So does this mean your officially done opening up Disney???

: Re:Disney Treasures Sketch
: gimli September 09, 2004, 12:51:37 AM
well i thought that there would be none coming up for sale so i bought 3 cases of DT1 and a set of each bobble heads from series 1 2 & 3 so you never know what i might get I will have to open them I can't bring myself to keep sealed packs in the house

I am weak very weak ;D

: Re:Disney Treasures Sketch
: Crystyles September 09, 2004, 12:59:57 AM
Open, open, open!!!!

I don't think cards like sitting in the packs anyways. And what if there's a sketch or the cut sig. in there you'll never be able to live with yourself  ;D

I'm very weak too, way to tempting!

: Re:Disney Treasures Sketch
: gimli September 09, 2004, 01:06:20 AM
the problem is that i cant understand people who collect full boxes now that is odd. even collecting an unopened packs is very strange. Packs are made to be opened. So open them I will on a regular basis ;D

I pulled this card this week and thought it was interesting. It is what you could call an error card

the cards is The Night mare before Christmas but the film cells are Peter Pan
