: SILENT HILL : Eve April 24, 2006, 08:54:48 PM Is anyone a fan of the games? Did anyone see the movie? I LOVE the games, and I saw the movie this weekend. I personally thought it was very disturbing and creepy,(right up my alley). But, if you're not a fan of the games, I'm not sure if you'd like this movie. I really liked it, a lot. Anyway, I'm interested to hear what others think.

I think the biggest problem is that even though it is not a direct adaptation of the game, if you have not played the game you really do not understand what is going on nor can you appreciate what is happening. But I did like it...how about "Pyramid Head" and that girl? That was something I have not seen before. Wow....I felt kind of gross when I saw it...because I started laughing at just how ridiculous and gorey it was and I swear the whole theater was staring at me. : Re: SILENT HILL : rns91294 May 16, 2006, 06:32:49 AM The pyramid head guy is in one of the games...I think. I saw the movie and my husband played all the games. I wasn't too fond of the storyline, but the rest of it looks so much like the game, it was awesome! But I do agree, if you haven't played the games, the movie probably won't be a good movie to you.
