I thought for sure that we had a thread here like the one in POAU, but I guess not. 
I just got my new CFC9 today!  I good story behind it-
I saw the auction on ebay and the cell was described as being Hermione.  Since the GOF trailers has scenes from all 4 movies, and I'm only collecting cards with cells from GOF, I asked the seller which movie it was from.  He didn't know.  ::)  But, the price was right so I took a chance.  Glad I did because it's the scene where the Durmstrang boys come in, then it cuts to Hermione with a sly little grin on her face. ;D  LOVE IT!!!  2 more film cards to go.  :ebay:

I still need CFC5 and CFC9.  Looking for Fleur, Cedrick, Harry, Ron, or any other cool shot from GOF that I don't have.

Oh, I love it!  If I had been thinking more, I would have gone for cells to match the tasks, just like that one.

I have the dragon filmcard with cells of Cedric in the first task tent, so now I want to find the maze filmcard with cells of any of the Triwizard champions in the maze.  I cursed myself when I started collecting POAU filmcards with matching cells, and now I'm not happy with any filmcard unless it matches the picture or scene on the card. :-\

OK, so I pulled a filmcard from GOF.  The cool thing about it was that the cell featured a close up of Hermione. 

The bad thing about it: There was a Hermione POA cell of her peeking around the branches in the Time-Turner sequence laying over the GOF cell. 

So, it's harder to see the GOF cell through the POA cell.  Question--would this be something anyone would consider special/variant or a fault/mistake? 

I mean, I like it, but is it something I should send in for a replacement?

Really?  There are two different cells in the same slot?  If that is the case, I would call this an error card, but also a rare find that I think I would probably keep.  Interesting.

So you're saying that there are 2 film cells, one on top of the other, in one spot?  I've never heard of that before!  I'm not sure about it.  It's definately a mistake, but some people might think it was a good mistake.  It's really rare for sure.  I'll wait to see what everyone else says.  :-\

LOL -- Sara and Kelly beat me to the punch!  I was going to ask for the same clarification. :)  You could try to sell it on eBay.  Some people might think it's a valuable variant. :)  If it doesn't sell, then you could contact Artbox about a replacement.

Yes, there are two separate film cells, one right on top of the other, in the same card slots--both of them are Hermione. 

Yeah, I was a bit bewildered by it.  At first I thought it was a big error, but then I thought it might be something kind of special.

Well, it definitely was an error in production, but it may also be the only one like that out there ;). 

Personally, if I pulled one like that, I would be keeping it! I wouldn't care if it was considered a mistake, or if it were considered a variant. I'd like it because it was different!  ;D

I'm keepin' it!  It is now firmly set in my flimcard collection.  :)

If I can, I'll try to scan it and put a pic up.  If it doesn't show well,though, I won't post it.

C01 Harry's First Task Robes - 400 of 400!

After getting this card, I noticed that the material was different than the one I already had. This one is made of a jersey-like material where the other one I have is made of some kind of fabric. After doing some research, I found that the C01a case incentive also has two different swatch materials. (You can see my other CO1 cards above.)

I got my Ron and Krum(hand siged) auto card from Tom
and already scaned put on my blog.

Thanks Roz. Very lucky I had do a copy for my HDD before repair.
It comes back to me and as the guys said the HDD is running well and very clean now.

did i get it for a decent price, as i didn't join this forum till after the boom of the release of GOF so i dont really know much about that set.
i know we have the price guid to do this and that says its recent price was £25.00, but going off some other sellers buy it knows ask for £60.00 to £70.00 :-\

Thanks everyone. :)  I won it in a BIN auction.  The strange thing about the BIN auction was that the seller had two P10a cards and this variant was cheaper than the one with writing.  I was very pleased to find the auction. :D

i cannot believe it!!! i know its not one of the rarest cards ever out, but it was one that was mentally  marked as too much and so me and sam never showed any interest or effert into getting it.
BUT WE OWN IT NOW, so we can Laugh at it now when we watch GOF on DVD and neve sulk at the idea of never obtaining it like we used to.

That was one heck of deal you got with the auction! :o :o :o  Some sellers just don't know what they have and what the items are worth.  Good for you!

Well I would love to convince Tweasley to sell me her beaubatons card that has karkaroffs material in it - but she wont budge  :'( :'( :'(

Her error card is the only one i know of for the Beaubatons card and my light blue karkaroff is the only one of its kind that I know of (surprisingly I didn't pay that much for it :rofl:) Well incomparison to what I have paid for some of my variants - it wasn't much.  ;)

Keep looking guys.  There has to be more than one Beauxbaton error than mine.  I have terrible luck when it comes to those kind of things, so I can't believe I own a one of a kind card.  Congratulations on the two Karkaroff errors.  Some day I hope to add them to my collection too.

The light blue error is 336 and the dark blue error is 210 which is interesting because my card that does have the white material in it is 206.

I wanted to buy a Yule Ball Drapes Card because my friend doesn't have one yet. But then I opened the package and there it was... a Yule Ball Program Card  ;D

Since my Yule Ball Program Card was broken when I pulled it out the box I'm very happy to have a good one now.

And I am very lucky with the inserts of my boxes. BUT I do have lots of problems getting them because I have a lot of trouble with the toll lately  >:()

What i say, it's not easy for us Germans to get these boxes without problems and i hate customs offices.  :-\ But i wish i would have your luck with the pulls, you get so many nice props, congrats. :)
