First off, the Quad card is an immediate eye-catcher. I can't imagine how wonderful (and rare) these cards will be. The costumes - delacour's underwater robe, Herminone's yule ball dress, and Voldemort's Robe - offer a nice breath of fresh air in this set. The props (depending on variants) could be interesting.....but certainly look a bit more exciting than a bunch of burlap samples. Only time will tell.....but I think this set is looking up! : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : emmafan March 20, 2006, 10:56:55 PM I have to say that looking over this list there certainly is a broad range from the exciting to the downright dull. But after thinking for a moment, I needed to remind myself that the sweet doesn't taste quite so good without the sour. So a broad range certianly isn't a bad thing. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Tower March 21, 2006, 01:10:45 AM Quad Card: 4 autos and 4 costume swatches on one card Really 4 and 4? Wow. :o What could it be else than the 4 champions? ::) I hope this card will be found in boxes and especially in one of my boxes. ;D : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum March 21, 2006, 01:16:34 AM Really 4 and 4? Wow. :o What could it be else than the 4 champions? ::) I hope this card will be found in boxes and especially in one of my boxes. ;D I'm with you on that one! :D Regardless of which characters are represented on the quad card, it's a given that it will be rare. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Tower March 21, 2006, 01:23:44 AM And i still wonder if it will be numbered (like Costumes) or not (like Autos). Any bets? ::)
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Bryanjs14 March 21, 2006, 01:26:19 AM i'll put everything I have that it will be numbered....and numbered LOW.
My guess would be around 50 : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : emmafan March 21, 2006, 01:58:49 AM Do you think that there is a possibility of two different types of Quad cards? As in a costume quad (containing four costumes) and then a seperate card as a Quad Auto? It will be mighty difficult to fit those eight things on one simple card. Though I have seen many sports cards with similar incentives work well. I guess you never know.
For as rare as these will most likely be, I would almost rather see two different types. That would provide slightly better odds. Think about how rare the triple auto was - now add an auto AND four costumes! : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Bryanjs14 March 21, 2006, 02:05:46 AM You know, that was actually the first thing that crossed my mind...that there would be two different quad cards.
Basicly, I think if there is a quad (all on one card) card we would see some changes. the costume swatches would HAVE to be smaller to make room for the signatures OR they would go the route of a lot of sports cards and do two costume/autos on the front and 2 costume/autos on the back. I would also prefer two different quad cards. they would look REALLY nice next to each other. Personally though, I think that the triple autograph is very poor in design, and I hope that they change the large white box idea when doing the quad auto card. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : emmafan March 21, 2006, 02:22:28 AM I would also prefer two different quad cards. they would look REALLY nice next to each other. Personally though, I think that the triple autograph is very poor in design, and I hope that they change the large white box idea when doing the quad auto card. I was thinking the same thing. They would look great next to each other (although they would be in someone else's collection - never mine HA ) It just seems that if there are four autos AND four costumes then this really defies the naming as a QUAD card. Wouldn't OCTO-card or DUO-QUAD card sound more appropriate (suggesting these names in half jest...) I think the most important factor is that Artbox makes the quad card meaningful. The most logical conclusion would be that this is a quad card focused on the four champions. When we all hear the word quad, I think we immediately think the GoF champions for this set. But what if they are unable to develop a card like this? Would we be (*gasp*) disappointed if the card has four autos, but the four are not as intrinsically entwined as the four champions? : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Bryanjs14 March 21, 2006, 02:41:54 AM LOL, Warwick Davies as Flitwick, the Choir Conductor, The Goblin Bank Teller, and uhhhh, Wicket the Ewok....what the heck.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : LikORish-Spider March 21, 2006, 03:10:32 AM You know, that was actually the first thing that crossed my mind...that there would be two different quad cards. Yeah, and our luck numbered to 25 on each one. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Morningangel-Iola March 21, 2006, 03:34:18 AM Not Barty Jr oh dear I am sooooooooooo going to want that one. ::)
I know it probably is somewhere else but I haven't been on very often these days and might get lost. But whats the latest expected date for the update set I need to plan my bank robbery in time (:D# |:# : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum March 21, 2006, 03:45:43 AM It could change, as we've seen this happen with previous sets, but for now the release/ship date is April 24.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Morningangel-Iola March 21, 2006, 03:48:37 AM Ah right, I think I better start saving. Is that the first date they have come up with because that one never happens.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum March 21, 2006, 03:51:00 AM I'm not sure if that's the first date. There had been talk of the set being released to coincide with the DVD release, but that obviously didn't happen. Maybe the April date will stick.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Morningangel-Iola March 21, 2006, 03:57:34 AM Thats true, if only they had a workable website ::) ::)
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : darthmactor March 21, 2006, 06:09:35 AM *sigh* There goes my tax return money. I so hope I'm not short changed an auto and prop in this case, like I was for GOF. Any word on if this set is going to have film cards? I've heard both ways thus far. If they did, hopefully they have some cracking bits from the yule ball and from harry and Montymorts battle in the graveyard. :D
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum March 21, 2006, 06:17:12 AM *sigh* There goes my tax return money. I spent all of my GOFU money on LOTR Evolution sketches. ::) At least there's still time to save. :) I've heard both ways about the filmcards, too. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : beckham1 March 21, 2006, 07:37:12 AM I thought we had heard originally that there would be film cards, but I think based on 5 auto's and 5 props as well as the one costume per box (10 per case) for a total (if the #'s hold) of 20 premium cards per case, we might assume there will not be film cards. If there were that would likely make it 23ish hits per case which seems to be much more than previous history shows.
Also it would be a situation where if they did film cards in two releases for one set we would likely have many repeat film cells. Original POA didn't have film cell cards but POAU did. SS did (no update set for SS) and GOF did (GOFU?). Who knows but I would venture to guess at this point there won't be film cell for GOFU based on having them in GOF. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : LikORish-Spider March 21, 2006, 09:52:30 AM I got an e-mail from artbox saying that there will be FilmCards.
I guess we'll have to wait and see. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : beckham1 March 21, 2006, 11:15:00 AM Don't get me wrong I hope there are filmcards. With the insertion ratio's of the other items it would seem to good to be true. I will keep my fingers crossed.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : LikORish-Spider March 21, 2006, 11:32:49 AM Don't get me wrong I hope there are filmcards. With the insertion ratio's of the other items it would seem to good to be true. I will keep my fingers crossed. I'm with you. It's about time they put out a little more. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : mcgonagall March 21, 2006, 12:14:39 PM I want hagrid and mcgonagall
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : beckham1 March 21, 2006, 12:45:36 PM I want hagrid and mcgonagall I never would have guessed  Well there were rumors of a McGonagall costume in this set. Right? I thought I heard that. We did get a Hagrid costume in SS so that was good. I think the hopes of auto's from them are pretty slim, well at least most people seem to say they don't want to autograph cards. Or was that my imagination? : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum March 21, 2006, 06:59:58 PM There are rumors of other costumes and props. Until we have confirmation from an outside source, they can't be added to the first post in the thread. We're about a month away from release, so there should be new info soon. :o=
I don't know about Maggie Smith, but Robbie Coltrane refused to sign for one of the James Bond sets. He's never signed for any set. I wouldn't hold out much hope for his auto. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : mcgonagall March 21, 2006, 10:11:56 PM but i don't need Maggie smith auto she has signed 5 first edition harry potter books for me I want a costume of hers and robbie coltranes auto lmao
not asking for much at all am I : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum March 21, 2006, 10:25:25 PM Marcia, you're not saying you would actually turn down her auto in an Artbox set? :o ;) I have my fingers crossed for a McG costume card with a swatch from her green Yule Ball robe. There's a lot of fabric in that robe, and I wouldn't care if the card was numbered to 2900 like the Lupin jacket. It would be great to finally have that card.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : mcgonagall March 21, 2006, 10:28:29 PM true i would never really say no to another auto it would look great in my collection but like you would love the costume card don't care if it is from her noral rebes as she is always dressed great
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Martyn March 21, 2006, 10:36:38 PM Warp9Cards has some infos about the upcoming set on their website :
10-13 Autograph Cards (Odds not stated) including Danielle Radcliffe Clemence Poesy Quad Card (Autograph and Costume) 10-15 Costume Cards (Odds not stated) including Hermione’s Yule Ball Costume Minerva McGonagall Lucius Malfoy And more 8-10 Prop Cards (Odds not stated) including Riddle Manor Letter to Sirius Black from Harry Christmas Cards And more http://www.warp9cards.com/ : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum March 22, 2006, 12:37:44 AM I received an email today from Artbox confirming that there will be FilmCards. :) If the odds hold up, the cases should be pretty well stocked with inserts.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : andrem March 22, 2006, 02:26:56 AM Just got an email from artbox concerning the QUAD-CARD:
Our newest edition for the HP GOF Update Set is the Quad card, which includes 4 costumes, along with 4 autograph cards (details on the actors will be announced later). : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : emmafan March 22, 2006, 02:29:24 AM includes 4 costumes, along with 4 autograph cards (details on the actors will be announced later). Still sounds like it could be interpreted either way. I guess, with the nature of this sort of unique card, we just won't be satisfied until we get a true glimpse of it. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Tower March 22, 2006, 02:51:10 AM I asked Artbox if there will be really 4 Costumes AND 4 Autos on the same card (so EIGHT altogether), that was exactly my question.
I got a very quick reply: "Quad card - yes, you are absolutely right. It has 4 costumes, and 4 autographs on one card." Wow. :D : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : emmafan March 22, 2006, 02:56:30 AM "Quad card - yes, you are absolutely right. It has 4 costumes, and 4 autographs on one card." Wow. :D ABSOLUTELY is a very affirmative response. Sounds like we have one heck of an insert card to chase after here fellas (and ladies of course). This sounds like it could potentially the most elusive Harry Potter card to date. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : HPfamily March 22, 2006, 03:09:26 AM WOW, WOW, WOW!!! :o :o :o
That is going to be one jam packed card!!! 8) How exciting!! *envisions pulling such a card* AHHHH!!! ;D : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Morningangel-Iola March 22, 2006, 03:48:57 AM How many quads do we reckon? my moneys on two lol
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : HPfamily March 22, 2006, 03:52:17 AM That's what I would guess! :-\
I think it'll be the Yule Ball pairs/dates! : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Roz March 22, 2006, 03:59:32 AM Really? But that would be 8 different characters :o
I'm for champions... I'm sure I've heard noises confirming it : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : HPfamily March 22, 2006, 04:02:54 AM DUH!!! ::) :-X
Your right!! :P : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : EmmasOneandOnly March 22, 2006, 04:05:18 AM Do you think they'll ever make a triple Trio card?
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Morningangel-Iola March 22, 2006, 04:07:01 AM I meant the quad being only two cards 1/2 and 2/2
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : emmafan March 22, 2006, 04:32:50 AM I meant the quad being only two cards 1/2 and 2/2 Haha, I certainly hope that the odds will be at least slightly better than that. I don't think that a card numbered out of two would go over too well with the collectors. That would beg the question - why go through all the trouble to sit down all four actors for signatures and produce/develop a card that has such extremely limited availability. My money is closer on the #/25 range to at the most #/50. I think no one can guess whether or not the card will be numbered. It has the properties of both autographs (Artbox does not confirm numbers) and costumes (number confirmations), so we will have to see what they choose to do. But I have a very suspicious feeling that Artbox will keep there mysterious tendency to not release production numbers for this card. The scarcity/rarity of the card is assured, but the lack of actual numbers will give the card a greater elusive value to the collector. If that makes sense...?? : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Morningangel-Iola March 22, 2006, 04:43:34 AM Yup I think one thing is certain I won't be owing one lol
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Tower March 22, 2006, 04:48:05 AM I dream of pulling one in one of my boxes. I know, it won't come true, but i really like the dream. :D

Yes, i got the confirmation from Artbox that the Quad Card will be handled as an usual Autograph Card: "...it will not be numbered and is going in as Autograph Cards." 8) So we will never now for sure how many exist. But one more info: "... it will be randomly inserted in packs ....very rare, and limited." Well, of course very rare, i guess we can compare it with the Triple Auto. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : LikORish-Spider March 23, 2006, 01:28:39 AM I meant the quad being only two cards 1/2 and 2/2 Haha, I certainly hope that the odds will be at least slightly better than that. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : EmmasOneandOnly March 25, 2006, 02:10:40 AM Asked Artbox for news, this is what I got

Thank you for your support! Nothing really new but it never hurts to ask :) : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum March 25, 2006, 02:23:35 AM If the figure of eight to 10 props cards is correct, we now know all 10 props. That means there will not be a Daily Prophet prop with this set. :-\ What a disappointment.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : EmmasOneandOnly March 25, 2006, 02:25:48 AM And there is no way for them to make one because its OotP after this :'(
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum March 25, 2006, 02:29:43 AM I suppose it could show up in one of the limited edition sets Artbox is planning. Not that I'll hold my breath for it. They never did produce a Sirius costume for POA or POAU. :-\
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Sharon March 25, 2006, 02:46:52 AM I will also be really disappointed not to have a Daily Prophet and even more so if they don't do any house ties, more specifically Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Nienna March 25, 2006, 02:57:35 AM This set is crying out for the other two House tie costume cards!!! :o= :o=
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : beckham1 March 25, 2006, 03:33:14 AM We still haven't seen or heard anything on Prof Quirrell's (sp?) turban which was pictured in the NSU mag in a HP set preview. That might have been from SS though, I can't seem to remember I don't have it readily available either. Maybe that will be in one of the special sets. Seemed strange to have a picture of a costume that was in possession of AB for a set and not use it ???
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : beckham1 March 25, 2006, 03:36:07 AM Also I must say I am pretty disappointed in the 2 case incentive tent from first task prop. Isn't that a repeat? How can it be something different. Doesn't seem like much of an incentive. Lets hope the Fluer incentive isn't one of the two costumes from GOF. That will really make me >:() >:()
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : EmmasOneandOnly March 25, 2006, 04:06:26 AM I'd like Fleur's costume to be her Third Task since we already have one from the First and Second Tasks.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : grecopa March 25, 2006, 06:44:28 AM This set is crying out for the other two House tie costume cards!!! :o= :o= Yes it is!!! This may be one of the last chances to get those cards. It's a perfect time for Artbox to include those, with Cho and Cedrick having worn them.: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : rns91294 March 25, 2006, 12:24:28 PM Yes it is!!! This may be one of the last chances to get those cards. It's a perfect time for Artbox to include those, with Cho and Cedrick having worn them. Ah, Cedric's tie. Now that is a card I would HAVE to have :) I will be dissapointed with out a DP in this set as well. There were so many wonderful shots of the paper in the movie :'( : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : beckham1 March 25, 2006, 12:33:32 PM Someones up late tonight :P I hope there will be some nice suprises, with the little info Artbox has given and the promises of some big suprises I have high expectations. I can't wait and hopefully we will get another Cedric costume considering ....
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : rns91294 March 25, 2006, 03:16:35 PM  Yeah, it is now 4 am here. I think it is time for bed ::)
I agree that this set sounds promising. I am really excited for it. Another Cedric costume would be great. I just hope to see more Yule Ball costumes as well :o= : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum April 05, 2006, 01:59:48 AM The first post has been updated with new info about the set. :)
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : darthmactor April 05, 2006, 02:33:27 AM Hm, I find the new info on the set to be both promising and disappointing. Some of the new auto info is good to hear, and the fact that it looks like we will be getting a Daily Prophet in the props cards is very welcome information. However, and I may be the only fool who thinks this, but I really don't like the direction they are going with the 'Material Used in the Making of" costume cards (one of the big reasons I dislike, say, Topps so-called costume cards as opposed to other cards companies >:( ), and I like most of the prop cards on the list, but 1) how many tent prop cards do we need? To me, a tent is a piece o'scenery, and not really a prop; kind of like if they took a piece of a wall from a house in a film and put it a prop card: really doesn't work for me. And 2) I was much happier with the 10 costume, 5 auto, and 5 prop rumor then the current 7, 5, 3. And I'm a bit to lazy too look, but wasn't GOF 10, 5, 3, with three film cards? So why remove three costume cards for the current set and not increase the number of one of the other inserts. And one last thing, since I'm yaking on anyway (heh, yaking on, heh, that's a funny): So does "2 Dual Auto/Costume Cards" means 2 different duel auto and 2 different duel costume cards, or a duel auto and a duel costume cards making two total, or are they going the same route as the quad card and making it 2 autos and 2 costumes on one cards? *sigh* Instead of answering our questions, it just begets more questions.
I realize this sounds like I'm really down on the info for this set, and I am on certain parts of it to be honest, but I do find it, mostly, to be promising, with some very nice autos and prop cards, and some decent costume cards. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum April 05, 2006, 03:05:43 AM I can answer some of your questions. The odds are not yet set in stone. They could change, and as I recall with other sets, there were questions until we received the cases/boxes and read the odds printed on the packs. If someone from Artbox reads this and wants to clarify the odds/case breakdown, please let us know. :)
Artbox has no control over what costumes (or other objects) Warner Bros. supplies for the cards. If the studio has decided to hold on to the costumes and only give Artbox fabric used to make those costumes, there really isn't anything Artbox can do about it. Maybe Warner Bros. thinks that if Peter Jackson can keep LOTR costumes intact, then they should do the same with HP. I can't imagine that the people at Artbox are pleased with this turn of events. The dual auto/costume cards have one auto and one costume of a Death Eate. There are two different Death Eater dual auto/costume cards. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : darthmactor April 05, 2006, 06:49:58 AM So, other then Jason Issacs as Lucius, I don't think we saw a single death eater's face, really. So...this will kind of be liking having an autograph card from third non-descript Gryffindor student to the left in scene 27, 'eh? Oh, I know full well the odds are never set in stone with artbox, hence the reason I worded it the way I did, i.e. as a rumor. If the supposed box break down was ever actually garunteed by them, I would have been able to complain alot with the last case. :P See, I can understand a part of the Peter Jackson LOTR costume thing, wanting to keep the costume for show purposes, but then there's also the fact that there are usually a minimum of three or four copies of each costume, which usually each get their turn on screen as the others are worn down through war and tear, so one would gather there would at least be one to give to, say, a card company, if the price was right.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : ferdinand_the_yak April 05, 2006, 07:01:59 AM I think that this is the only set in which I am more excited over the costumes than anything else - thare no costumes on that list that I wouldn't want (well unless they were black cloak Task costumes for Harry - doubtful though). Well, the autos are also really exciting, but until we see who the remaining signers are (Random student #34 in Scene 6) I will try not to get too excited ;)
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum April 05, 2006, 08:49:21 AM Personally, I think the whole set sounds pretty good, particularly the props -- Daily Prophet, Weasley Quidditch tent, Christmas cards (should have some good variants), Sirius letter, and the Irish Quidditch flag.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : darthmactor May 08, 2006, 05:51:46 PM We still haven't seen or heard anything on Prof Quirrell's (sp?) turban which was pictured in the NSU mag in a HP set preview. That might have been from SS though, I can't seem to remember I don't have it readily available either. Maybe that will be in one of the special sets. Seemed strange to have a picture of a costume that was in possession of AB for a set and not use it ??? Maybe Quirrell's trubin will be in the MM set, perhaps. I've been wondering, how will they accomplish the finished Quad card on a normal sized card? I know we'll see it in two or three weeks when Anna, or Lick-O-Rish, or Gimli, or one of the multi-case buyers pulls one, but I still feel like asking the question. Will it end up like the topps sticker autos, in that they will have a much smaller space in which to sign and thus have a much more squashed sig? And then, assuming they don't put the costumes on one side and the sigs on the other (which they very well might), wouldn't the costume bits limit even more the space available for a sig? Hm...just wondering how they'll pull it off I suppose. :) : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum May 08, 2006, 06:15:28 PM Sara posted about this in the Philly Show thread. :) Artbox had a sample card on its table.
There is one swatch in the center of the card that is divided in to 4 little pie pieces, one for each costume. Then the autos, with the actors picture, one next to each swatch. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : darthmactor May 08, 2006, 06:18:02 PM Sara posted about this in the Philly Show thread. :) Artbox had a sample card on its table. Yeah, I'm just wondering how much room that leaves for each auto; not much I'm guessing. Oh well, doesn't matter, it'll still be a nice card. :) : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Roz May 08, 2006, 06:23:21 PM Inkworks have some pretty cool small-swatched cards, and I daresay we'll see some mastery in the W of Oz set with the small swatches, so as long as it's balanced.
Sara in the mock up did the spacing look reasonable? : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum May 08, 2006, 06:26:45 PM It probably doesn't leave much room, but I'd rather have that than have the costumes on one side and the autos on the other. The Wizard of Oz set has some auto, prop, and sketch cards that are 3x5. We'll be able to better judge after we see one, but maybe the quad card would benefit from being a larger size.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : pinksamstar May 09, 2006, 01:00:31 AM :o= i want a hermione ball gown card :o= i want a hermione ball gown card :o=
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Bitsy May 09, 2006, 01:54:01 AM :o= i want a hermione ball gown card :o= i want a hermione ball gown card :o= I would venture a guess that this card will be one of the favorites. I would love to pull one...when they hit :ebay:, I'd be surprised if they didn't go pretty darn high. ::) I really hope you pull it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o= When you do, we will all bug you until you post a picture! ;D : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Bryanjs14 May 09, 2006, 03:19:00 AM There is always the possibility they will mimic some of the sports cards set and two two costume/autos on the front, and two costume/autos on the back. Unlikely, but a possibility
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum May 09, 2006, 05:12:51 AM Actually, it isn't a possibility. Ask Sara -- she saw the card at the Philly Show. Everything is on the front.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Bryanjs14 May 09, 2006, 05:26:47 AM Oh lol.
Well shoot down my ideas why don't you!!! LOL J/K...that is going to be tough to fit. : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : EmmasOneandOnly May 15, 2006, 01:33:59 PM Do you guys think, going into the 3rd week of may, they'll start shipping? I haven't read any posted news about it being pushed back?? (I really skimmed Cindy's first post :-X )
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Roz May 15, 2006, 03:02:24 PM Well, rumours were that they hoped to ship at the end of this week, but whether that will come off considering various complications I don't know.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : ferdinand_the_yak May 15, 2006, 03:07:18 PM I don't mind the delay ;D It gives me time to save up a bit more, although it might be a pain for those whose money is itching to jump out of their wallets :P
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum May 15, 2006, 07:05:13 PM More time to save up is great, but if Memorable Moments is coming out in late June, that doesn't give a lot of time between releases. :-\
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : ferdinand_the_yak May 15, 2006, 07:18:53 PM I use the logic that if one set is delayed, the subsequent one will be as well. Worked so far for me ;)
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : ArwenEvenstar May 15, 2006, 08:05:41 PM I can't believe I had to cancel my order of 2 cases on this set. Still...priorities right?
Im sure I'll enjoy seeing everyone pull some great cards and mayhap even some quad cards *John Im looking at you here* :P : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : darthmactor May 15, 2006, 10:32:16 PM Well, the seller I'm going through just wrote saying paymets due, so the rumor is indeed true, they are shipping end of this week.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : hockeyron May 16, 2006, 12:25:29 AM Yes I just had to pay for my 2 cases today as well ...
Looks like I should have them by Tues/Wed. of next week !!!! ron : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Sharon May 16, 2006, 12:43:12 AM ;D ;D ;D
Then let the opening frenzy beginning ;D. But who will be first this time :o That's almost as exciting as what's in the packets  : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Bitsy May 16, 2006, 12:53:11 AM I'm hyperventilating! :o Seriously, I have been itching to get my hands on some insert filled packs! ;D
Eww, and I have a dentist appointment next week...this would be a nice little treat after that visit. I can see it now, opening packs in pure bliss...with a numb mouth and a constant stream of drool running down my chin that I can't feel b/c of the Novocaine. Oh, won't I be cute. :P : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : kbmum May 16, 2006, 01:04:01 AM Just make sure you hold the cards away from your chin! ;D You wouldn't want to get drool on that x/100 card!
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : HPfamily May 16, 2006, 07:08:27 AM Yep! Bank account is empty now!! :P
Seems more real!! ;D (or is it that I'm just broke! :-\ )  Who knows if the shipping schedule is like it was for GOF? : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Bitsy May 16, 2006, 07:34:46 AM Just make sure you hold the cards away from your chin! ;D You wouldn't want to get drool on that x/100 card! I'll have to hold it way out in front of my face, otherwise, you're right, I'd ruin the card and not even realize it. Love the optimism( and hope you are right :o=)--x/100--If I pulled one of those, I'd probably drool anyway, with or without Novocaine! ::) : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : rns91294 May 16, 2006, 07:50:30 AM Actually, it isn't a possibility. Ask Sara -- she saw the card at the Philly Show. Everything is on the front. That's right. The card has all four costumes and autos on the front. It looks nice actually. The center of the card has a cut out the size of a normal swatch. That piece is broken in to four pie pieces, each with a part of a costume. Next to each costume piece is their auto and picture. So the costumes pieces are smaller, but it was still a very nice looking card and I would love to pull one :o= : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : HPfamily May 16, 2006, 08:00:17 AM Me Too!!!! :o= :o=
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : darthmactor May 16, 2006, 12:11:08 PM And, due to unforeseen circumstances, I cannot join in with this, and I've had to cancel my case. Believe me, one of the saddest choices I've had to make it a very long while. :'(
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : blackcat20 May 16, 2006, 12:49:18 PM Are you thinking of maybe getting a single box so that you dont miss out completely?
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : beckham1 May 16, 2006, 01:16:57 PM Well its not like you won't be able to get any boxes after the release, it just might be a little more than preorder. With the big pulls that can be had in GOFU it will be a better buy than POAU ever was.
: Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : Roz May 16, 2006, 02:50:19 PM And, due to unforeseen circumstances, I cannot join in with this, and I've had to cancel my case. Believe me, one of the saddest choices I've had to make it a very long while. :'( Oh no! What a blow :( bad luck Casey :( Fingers crossed you'll be back for another set and pulling all the best things ;) : Re: GOFU autos, costumes, and props : cardz_house May 16, 2006, 05:42:51 PM Hmm.....time to send a e-mail to my dealer again. Hope to seek confirmation from him whether my 2 cases are shipping out this week.
