For the moment, most of my cards like this are still in their original toploaders, but I think long term you need to take them out - because card companies cannot confirm that the toploaders are acid free and they aren't in penny sleeves inside either

Admittedly there are many occasions where they should be liberated immediately - such as your recent TOS A&I set where parts of Martineck's genius is covered by the seal... that needs to see the light of day ASAP ;)
